Not having any luck here either. I've been trying for the weekend of 8/14- 8/17. bid 4 then 3.5 then 3 stars between $60 to $120 over the last few weeks and absolutely no hits. Trying for downtown Niagara Falls.

Date: 2/15/2009 1 room 1 night stay 4 star Bid on Times Square - $95 - Failed Added Upper East Side - $100 - Failed Added Long Island City - $105 - Failed Added Brooklyn - $110 - Failed Added Chelsea - $112 - Won with Hilton Times Square Used the PRICELINE link to place bids. As always, thanks for helping us save money :-) BTW, any ideas where to park on a Sunday in Times Square around the Hilton?...other than craziness of the hotel?

Thanks for the tip. As for parking, is there a reasonable parking garage within close proximity to the Grand Hyatt? I have read that the hotel parking is very expensive. I would be looking for a 2 day parking (in-out probably not necessary) Thanks!

Just Hit today. 02/16/2008-02/18/2008 4-Star MTW - $140 - Declined Added TSQ - $145 - Declined Added MTE - $150 <---------Hit Tried $140 to $160 everyday for last 2 weeks with no luck. Something must have opened up today :-) BTW, I had used Savingsbarn as link. Never stayed at the Grand Hyatt, but I have heard good things about it. Thanks!

I am stuck in the same rut as you. I have been trying for the last couple of weeks for 2/16-2/18 in 4-star - MTW + MTE + Times Square + the 2 rebids. I start at $140 and move up to $160...no luck. I religiously try everyday, in case something opens up. I am thinking that the Saturday night arrival is causing us grief. I have been lucky in the past for Saturday night arrivals, but for some reason, this one is tough. Perhaps, it's because it's the first Saturday after Valentines and it is President's weekend (?)... It is still over 2 weeks away, so maybe things will open up in the next week (?)....What is the sweet spot for bidding on PL? I thought it was 1-3 weeks before the arrival date. I'm wishing both of us luck :-)
