Purchased the HOTWIRE $88 4* and got the Hyatt Regency as suspected. Pleased with this as it is what we were aiming for. Thanks for the help.

I have updated the San Diego post. Thanks for the opinion. I thought it might be the Hyatt. Re: Priceline: thinking if they're offering it on Hotwire for $88, they may accept a lower offer on Priceline. No guarantees, of course. We'd prefer to be very close to the Dome, yet anywhere in the general area is fine. We'll have to decide whether or not it's worth risking to save a few bucks. Thanks. To update, we purchased rooms outright at the Hilton Bayfront using a combination of points and cash. On a package deal we had bay view rooms, daily breakfast and a $50 f&b credit included for $99 a night. A good deal and we enjoyed the location and our stay.

Hello, Please help me identify the following for a one night stay on 7/8-7/9/17. I was thinking it may be the Hyatt Regency, but there's much overlap in the amenities for these Hotwire hotels. Hyatt R. is priced outright for $139.00 on Priceline for my stay. Maybe I should do a Name My Own Price...since I'm aiming for wither the Hyatt, Hyatt House or similar location close to the Dome. Hello and thanks. I'm surprised at the suggestion of the Manchester Hyatt. I do not see that they are pet friendly on their website. Perhaps it's hidden and I'm not seeing it? Unfortunately this has gone down to 87.00 and now is up to 95.00, still not bad, yet they offered a room outright for 99.00 last week.

I've been asked to post an outcome for this trip, regardless of the late entry. I did not book through HOTWIRE, but used PRICELINE EXPRESS (easy to identify this particular hotel), which offered a much better price for the Hotel Santa Fe, Hacienda Hotel and Spa. PE allowed me to 1) be guaranteed a room in the upgraded suite section of the facility and 2) choose my room type. I believe the cost was about $140.00 a night including taxes, breakfast, parking & internet. It was a very nice stay and I would recommend the hotel.

It is offered at a very low 98.00/night. Any thoughts as to which hotel this might be? Also, does it normally stand to reason that if Hotwire has a hotel at "x" price, it can be had for less through Priceline? Thanks in advance for the help.

Looking at booking Santa Fe for 9/1-9/8/12. Hotwire lists a 4.5* that is not on the BB hotel list. It's main amenities are as follows: Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Pool(s), Free Parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet With additional amenities of: Spa services, golf nearby, business center and others. Would this be the Hacienda and Spa at the Hotel Santa Fe?

So, I am not new to priceline bidding, nor to lurking on this forum, however I am frustrated. I have been trying for days to secure a hotel with the same criteria as this persons, including the dates. I watch while others are successful, however, even in using the rebids and raising to 75.00 it is not accepted. Is there a specific time of day to avoid bidding that I'm not aware of?
