The description was "LUXURIOUS, TRENDY HOTEL IN UNIQUE LOCATION ADJACENT TO THE OPERA" The only amenity when I looked to book for one night was "Pet friendly" If I looked to book for two nights the amenity list was much larger (see below) with the same description as above. Free Internet Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services Rack rate on Expedia is $207. So good deal.

$92.6 per night. HOTWIRE link used. Happy with deal Catamaran has parking for $13/day and internet is inclusive. Thanks BB team. thats my US holiday booked. Save a lot and really appreciate everyone's help. I am a Hotwire/Priceline convert! Expedia and booking.com only for backups. Always book refundable!

I think this Hotrate room is the Omni Parker Currently $327 for 3 nights 1/5/13-1/8/13 Amenities are Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf On the open Hotwire, there is the Omni Parker house for $370 Reading the HW hotel list it seems that only Omni and Nine Zero have tennis. But Nine Zero is boutique and this is not listed on the HW hot rate deal. I have bid up to $115/night incl taxes for a 4* on Priceline with no luck. This deal works out to 110/night incl taxes. Is HW usually cheaper than PL? Anyway thanks for the advice. As always used the links! Cheers

Hi all, Need some help please. Trying to book a hotel in Melb for the 21st to 23 of Sept. 5* room. CBD. I also used the airport as a free bidding zone. I have bid on priceline up to 156USD a night. Anyway I read they have two hotels Marriott and Stamford plaza. The cheapest rate I can find on Expedia is 236GBP for Stamford and and 300GBP for Marriott. This includes a 10% off coupon with Expedia expiring at the end of the week. hotwire has a 5 star 233GBP for the whole stay Amenities are below. This is 5* but there is not listing in your board on 5* Melbourne hotels. Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby What are your thoughts on A) what could the HOTWIRE hotel be? and B) Should I just book the Stamford on Expedia or do you think there is another new PRICELINE 5* hotel which has not bee talked about here? So I cant seem to do the 4* bid. I did the whole 3.5* bid as described yesterday. So it would seem I can start at 4* the downgrade to 3.5 but cant go the otherway? Cheers

For a 4* hotel should I still bid the same way and hope that they upgrade me from a 3* or do I do a whole new bidding thing only focusing on 4* hotels? Cheers for your help. As Always clicked the links

I usually pay the fare and get the miles. I can never find a flight which leaves at a reasonable time and has a good cnxn, as you say. Never found super discounted flights eater but I am very likely not looking hard enough
