  1. I'm also looking there at the moment and that zone would be much better if it were split in two! The HOTWIRE hotels for my dates (5/31-6/1) all look to be Vanderbilt ones.
  2. Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes 108 Baker Street England London, W1U 6LJ United Kingdom Check-In Date: Thursday, May 31, 2007 Check-Out Date: Friday, June 1, 2007 I had been trying for a few weeks in the London (Bloomsbury - Marble Arch), London (The City - Financial District) and London (Finsbury - Islington) zones at around the $100-125 level trying to get one of the usual suspects (Thistles, Cumberland, Hilton) and finally upped the bid as the necessary night was close and got the above at $140 for the one night.
  3. Strange - The pinned list suggests just Restaurant and Fitness for the Tremont. I actually saw a 3.5* listed with those amenities last week when i was gauging what was out there and assumed it was that one.
  4. Seeing a 3.5* hotel in Baltimore - Downtown and Inner Harbor area for $85 p/n for one night - 14/15 July 2007. Amenities are Suite, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant and High Speed Internet which doesnt seem to match up with anything on the pinned list. Any ideas please?
  5. I know this one is in the past (sorry!) but I thought i should post because it seems to be a new hotel for this zone/city. I spent a few days trying to get the the only other 3* in the zone (Sheraton) for anything under the $149 I had booked as a backup at the Courtyard Marriot and was suprised when I ended up with the Renaissance. The annoying thing is that i never actually made it to Oklahoma from Chicago due to the Winter storms that weekend but amazingly after calling Priceline with little hope of getting anything I got a full refund. WOW!
  6. Sorry its after the fact - booked last minute! This was the first bid i put in!
  7. Initially bid $50 and was shown a $64 counter....happily took it!
  8. Ooops forgot to post this win... This was won on my first bid - My stay was excellent!
  9. I recently got the 3* Washington Court Hotel for $75 for 12/10 for one night which is in the Capitol Hill Zone. With that in mind maybe you should start a little lower...
  10. Sorry if this is a dumb question but where do you see a counter offer if you get one? Is it straight after bidding or an email or another way??? I only seem to get straight yes or no's....
  11. Bid $45 for 3* in downtown Milwaukee and it was accepted at the first try. Reservation at Hilton 6-7 Jan - 1 Night
  12. Bid $45 for 3* in downtown Milwaukee and it was accepted at the first try. Reservation at Hyatt Regency. 26-27 Nov - 1 Night
  13. I'm hoping to be there 3-5 Feb - Been bidding from from $60 for 3* with the latest being $85 today with no luck. I was trying to avoid the 2 1/2 * as they seem a bit further away...
  14. Is it too early to be bidding for a hotel stay in early February? I've tried a few bids in the downtown area for 2 1/2 and 3 star hotels at the kind of levels that have won before but i'm having no joy... I'm trying to limit my bids to that area as i'm in town to see a game and i'm not a driver.... Your opinions would be most welcome...
  15. First bid which was based on what i'd seen here already...thanks for a VERY helpful site...
  16. $168.21 all in for 2 nights - i'm happy! First bid. (oops should read 24-26 feb in title)
