Instead of Kona looking to go to Maui.
So location has changed. Would like $100/n still but may need to pay more this late in game.
Would like to keep it at around $125 use all in per night
And those are all the amenities listed
Ended up changing plans and looking at new place.
Any idea on my new request?

For express deal on PRICELINE EXPRESS
Feb 5-6, 2015
3* in Kona area hotel
$116/night
restaurant and fitness centre
any idea what this could be?
unfortunately my bidding didn't work
tried 3* in Kona first $90
rejected
added Volcano and bid $100
rejected...
Thanks
does HOTWIRE have the same process?
Ok
So i want to stay in Kona. Highest rating is 4-Star Deluxe. But I am willing to go 3 star and first bid at $90
There are 3 other available zones.
Hilo highest is 3 stars
Volcano highest is 2 stars
Waikoloa highest is 4.5 stars
So if I understand this correctly. I first bid Kona for $90.
If rejected, I add volcano (since highest is only 2 stars), and I bid $100. Is this correct?
Am I guaranteed I won't get a place in Volcano, since that is far from where I want to stay
Also, if i get matched with Royal Kona Resort, is there a way to find out if they have resort fees?
thx
thanks
i read the re-bidding explained.
I am going to Select 3* Kona...
Bid $90.
If I get rejected, how should i proceed? should i bid on Waikoloa - Kohala Coast? The different zones are so far apart...
Is there any way to avoid resort fees? Or at least know if i will be charged.
I plan to stay in Kona area. If i bid $90 for a 3* hotel and grt rejected, which zone should i choose to bid again at $100? If i bid $95 the 2nd time and get rejected do i have to wait 24hrs?
if bidding on PRICELINE, if i get matched with a resort, are we responsible for paying the resort fees at the resort?
So I should use Price.line instead? I've never done bidding before.
I'm looking to stay in Kona near the airport. 2 or 3 star is fine. I guess I can go for 3 star if it is around the $100 range. What would I need to do
Its possible if i can get simular price
I'm looking to spend $100 CAD/night. I can book uncle Billy's for $95/nt directly from the site. I'm only staying for the night and don't need anything too expensive, but maybe something a bit nicer than uncle billy's
also, I don't see uncle billy's listed under the list of hotels for hawaii
thanks
when i proceed with booking the site mentions that the last person who booked got the kona seaside hotel. I would prefer to get that one instead however you mentioned it could be Uncle Billy's. Looking at reviews it doesn't see to be the best place to stay. Any other way I can get a better idea of which hotel it will be?
Please provide a follow-up for your prior Paris Priceline thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID the above listing.)
Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

For the bidding, would the list of possible hotels be similar to the list of hotels on the express list. Are you able to provide some recent examples of hotels that people have won through bidding in the Opera quarter east/west or st germain area? Just to get an idea? 4 or 5 stars
are most paris hotels difficult to predict?
I've never booked on priceline before, so what is the best way to get a hotel near the area I want? what is the difference between express deals and actual bidding? Could I get a better deal through bidding?
I'm looking for a hotel in Paris between Oct 7 and 10 (3 nights). I would like to stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel near the louvre. I'm budgeting $200-$240cad/night.
Any help? thx

Hmmm i don't see high speed. Unless I'm blind.
What about the Price.line quote I made (sorry if I separated, but in Priceline section)
Would it be the same hotel?
