First tried 3.5 stars for $51 and was rejected. Added 3 star hotels to the bid selection and it went through for $51. With taxes and fees, the room is $65.31

Priceline accepted the $45 bid for this 3 star hotel on the first attempt, total came to $57.05 with fees.

Accepted bid of $70 and the total with fees was $87.14

The room was $58 + $13.81 for taxes/fees. Total cost $71.81

Bid $42 and it was accepted on the first try. Total including fees was $54.84

I can usually score a three star or better for $60 or less in Rockville, but not today. This was the only thing I could get. The accepted bid was $71, with the total cost at $87.98.

Bid at $42 for 3 star in Greenbelt/Hyattsville and was rejected. Added adjacent College Park zone, upped bid to $47 and was accepted for the Greenbelt Marriott high-rise on Ivy Lane. Total with tax and fees is $60 and a few pennies.

Bid $48 and was accepted on first attempt. Came out to $61.73 with tax and fees.

At that hotel, you don't *have* to pay the $15 parking fee. There are 12-hour meters on the street alongside the hotel. The meters only need to be fed Mon-Fri from 9:00 am to 7:00PM. Overnight and weekends are free.

Bid $47 for a three-star in Greenbelt the first time, was rejected. Priceline offered a chance to re-bid if I raised the price to $57, which I declined. Added adjacent zone College Park three-star and upped bid to $51 and it was accepted. Total is $65.40 with fees.

With taxes and fees, it was $60 and some pennies total cost. SSG
