  1. Have explored hotwire, but also wanted to look into Priceline. Want an all-inclusive hotel in Cozumel - Oct 27-31. I don't see where you can tell Priceline that you want all inclusive - which makes the pricing very different. Just seems different than on hotwire where you can pick it. Any input on how/if I can get that narrow via Priceline or is hotwire my best option? Thanks!
  2. Any thoughts on my original questions at the first part of the post?
  3. October 27-31, 2005 When I posted the other day, price was $109/night on Hotwire, today it is $111. I was also finding $190 the cheapest at El Coz the other day, today I found $168 for a garden room. I don't know - I guess its really not that much of a discount. Thoughts?
  4. I'm looking to book an all inclusive hotel in Cozumel in late October. I'm a first timer to Hotwire, but it seems to be the best deal and for once, I'm not being too picky about where I stay. My question it, is it usually the rule of thumb that the room you're buying on hotwire is the lowest category room that's offered at the resort? Or sometimes do you luck out and it could be for a higher category room?? Or do you just have to bat your eyes at the check in desk and ask for an upgrade?? Also - Its the beginning of August and I'm looking to go in late October - what do the experts out there say about when I should book? I'm currently looking at a 3* (which I think Is the El Coz) for $109/night for 2 people or a 4* (which I think is the Grand) for $142 a night for 2 people. Should I grab it now or wait?? Thoughts?? THANK YOU!
  5. Hello! I'm new to the board, but I was just researching the same thing for a trip I'm looking to take in October 05. I agree with first poster in that I think your 4* is the Grand Occidental, your 3* the El Coz and I believe your mystery motel is the Melia. I charted out all of the ammentites today and crossed referenced them by hotel with the ones on the package site and the Melia meets them all. Also, I found out the Allegro is closed for the moment because of Hurricane Emily. The Grand was closed, but has re-opened as of July 30, confirmed via phone today with Occidental. So, I think that's probably why the Grand was off when you were looking a few weeks ago, but back on today. Here's my question - what's the risk of booking one room now and trying to book another room in a couple of weeks and getting the same hotel??
