Looking for 2 days stay for 8/24, 8/25 for Monterey, Ca. Hotwire showing a 3*** hotel in Monterey for $68 (reg. 168).
FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
Seems like too good to be true for 68? Any help ID this hotel would be deeply appreciated.
I took a chance with the 3 stars 90% rating for $100 after seeing it said "last person got coast plaza hotel & suites vancouver". Well, I didn't get the Coast Plaza, I got the "Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver" instead. I thought it was misleading since Comfort Inn offer a free breakfast and that wasn't mentioned in the amenites. I have no idea what Comfort Inn's rating is, Tripadvisor gave it 4 stars. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the reply, when I searched with the Bidding.helper earlier I didn't see the other 3 stars property. I just searched again a few minutes ago and see a 3 stars for $98, I assumed that's the one you are referring to? I wouldn't mind spending a few more dollars for a higher rating property. Will keep an eye on this one and make a decision soon.

Ok, thanks for the advise. I finally use Priceline bidding using your PRICELINE link and got the 3* downtown Miami for $105 ($127.44 total). It was Springhill Suites Airport East Medical Center.
Thanks again for all your helps & suggestions.
You're right, 15% is kind of low. One other option I found is a 1* on Priceline.Express:
1 Star Hotel in Miami Beach Area for $80/night
Guaranteed Amenities:
-Howard Johnson Plaza Miami north
-Days Inn /Suite Miami North Beach
-Days Inn Oceanside
Do you have any thought? Thanks again.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm also trying to figure out a one star * property showing up in Hotwire for Midtown Miami for $65, here are the info:
Amenities Include: Free Breakfast, Free Parking, Internet access, Pool(s), Pet friendly, Business Center
Please ID PRICELINE EXPRESS 3 Star Hotel in Miami Downtown Area for $115/night
Looking for a 1 night stay in Miami downtown for April 4, 14. Family of 4 (2 adult children). Bed choice is offer so I will pick the 2 bed option, assuming the worse case is to pay extra for 2 extra person but I should get 2 beds, correct? Three stars, Guest score is 7.0. The amenities are:
Ok, thanks for the suggestion. I think I can eliminate the Blue Lagoon since that property has no pool. However, a further checking around show Extended Stay America Miami Airport areas has 4 properties: 1 in Miami Springs/ 3 in Doral (3 properties: 7750 NW 25th Street,Miami, FL 33122 /8655 NW 21st Terrace,Miami, FL 33122 /8720 NW 33rd St.,Miami, FL 33172). So looks like this is a tough one to figure out!
Hi, I'm looking for a one night hotel in Miami Airport area as a pre-cruise stay for 4/04/14 (4 adults, 1 room). Hot wire showing a two stars ** hotel with the following amenities for $96:
Hi,
Trying to book a 2* hotel in Mission Valley, CA from Hotwire for $38 next week with the following amenities:
Fitness Ctr, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry, Internet, Golf & Tennis nearby. Other hints include 3 out of 5 rating from Tripadvisor, with 60+ reviews and last review in June 09. I can't really find a good match, anyone can offer help? Thanks in advance!
I had it narrowed down to either La Quinta or Hampton Inn, but I believed you're probably right with La Qunita since the retail price ($90) matched better than the higher priced Hampton. I really wanted the Hampton (for the indoor pools) so I probably would not go after it. Thanks for you reply.
Can someone help me out with identifying (or best guess) for this 3* Hotwire hotel in Central Flagstaff, Az for $59.
Hotel Amenities: Breakfast, Pool, Internet, Laundry, Fitness. 3.5/5 traveler rating from TripAdvisor based on 20+ reviews, last review Feb. 08.
-Many thanks!
After winning a bid for 2 nites (8/12,13) @ Hyatt Grand Champ. for $57 (Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage), two of my friends wanted me to bid for them for just 1 night (Sat. 8/13). Tried $57 again, failed, up it to $60 failed again. Today I show them how to bid and they tried again @ $60 and $65 both failed. I wonder if the problem is the 1 night (Sat.), has anyone been able to get a one night bid accepted for this region in the summer? Website show availability @ $109. We will try again tomorrow. Thanks for any suggestions.
I just stumbled across this thread and was surprised and glad to found all these banned memebers found a new home here. I was banned right after my first post so you know that **** is reading every single post here (can we ban her!). I will be posting all my winning bids here from now on but I will still keep an eye on the other board as a lurker. We will see how long the other site can survive with her stupidity mind running the site, cheers!!
Yes, it is Rancho Mirage (Indian Wells) zone. I think there's another Hyatt in the Palm Springs Zone.
Bid this last week with no luck up to $85. Try again today and got it on the first try, total for 2 rooms came to $262.54. Thanks for the help here.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I'm looking for 3 rooms. We will try to up the bid to ~90 (max) or change the dates around a bit to avoid Friday (maybe Wed/Th instead), thanks.
Just moved over to this board from the "other" bidding board after a tip from another mover. This place is so much friendlier, keep up the great works! Tried to bid for 2 nites @ Monterey, seems like others has been able to get it ~$70 for Monterey Hyatt. Hotel website is showing availability @ $239. Started with 3* Monterey @ $69, failed and added Carmel and up to $72, failed again and added Seaside @ $75, all failed. Tried to see if I can get a free upgrade with a 2 1/2*, started with $70 and failed, add free rebid and increased to $75, still failed. Plan to try again in 3 days, not sure if its still early or if the problem is the fact that the dates are just before a major holiday? Appreicate any insights or suggestions, thanks.
