  1. Sorry I didn't individually list all of the accessible amenities, for some reason I am unable to copy and paste onto this board. I thought the other amenities I typed out one by one would be enough info for the readers. Here is the full list: Free parking, Free internet, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, self service laundry, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, in-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.
  2. Amenities: Free parking, free internet, pet friendly, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, self service laundry, internet access, tennis nearby, accessible "regular price" was $179, hotel gets good reviews and is in the location we wanted/needed for this overnight stay. It was the hotel I anticipated and am happy with the win. Note - actual hotel name is Hilton Santa Cruz-Scotts Valley (couldn't change the name in the box above) and the hotel is located in Scotts Valley, a short distance from Santa Cruz.
  3. Yes! I was hoping for this hotel and although the exact amenity set hadn't yet been reported, I was betting on the Monaco. I booked two rooms at the same time. Have always had great service and have been very happy at this property.
  4. Amenities: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Spa Services, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Roll-in shower. 95% Hotwire approval rating, 4.5 dots Tripadvisor
  5. I will be really interested to see the results! I am looking at a different date range and am interested in this possibility (same amenities) - for the dates I am looking (4/29-5/6) the "full" price quoted is the same as what is quoted on TripAdvisor for the JW Marriott, and I did find on one site that the JW Marriott does have self serve laundry, so that is my guess - based on the approval ratings I kind of doubt that it is the Astor Crown Plaza but that seems to be the other possibility
  6. The list of amenities that I reported in my first post, is the list of amenities that were offered at the time that I "bought" the room, and yes, it is still the same list as is on my receipt, and the full list is still there when I look under my account (including free internet). I just searched on my dates again, and the hotel is not listed, they must be close to sold out for those dates, as I had to call the hotel directly to book the two nights prior. However, I just searched that zone for tomorrow night, 6/10, and the hotel shows at a rate of $129 per night (4*). The free internet amenity is gone for that date and other future dates, so I assume someone has responded to the email I sent and removed that amenity from the list. Hope this isn't too confusing, I don't know how else to state it.
  7. I should mention that this hotel showed 95% of Hotwire customers liked it, and a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor. I see that Hotwire has removed the "free internet" amenity from what is most likely this hotel, for future searches.
  8. I called Hotwire customer service this morning, as I had not yet received an email response from them. The net result is that they have given me a credit ("Hotwire Dollars") of $19.90 for a future reservation. Interestingly, the agent said that when she looks up the hotel on her system, that it states internet is available for a surcharge. Perhaps they have changed it already based on my message to them. But my receipt and in my account at Hotwire it clearly states "free internet" and if you click on the detail it says "property offers free internet in all the rooms". She advised me that if I book this hotel in the future to be aware that the internet is not free. I do hope that they take it off the list of amenities for everybody else's sake! If so, I am satisfied with the outcome.
  9. I should also mention that the zone is now "Walnut Creek, Concord, Lafayette Area" and that the correct name of the hotel I won is "Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa" (don't know why the header messed with the name of the hotel)
  10. Amenities listed: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Spa Services Free Internet I also booked this property through the hotel for the two nights prior, because I was unable to extend the nights I had booked through Hotwire. It was then that I found out that the hotel does NOT offer free internet, it is $9.95 per night. I called and spoke with an employee of the hotel who confirmed this, and said the hotel would not waive the internet fee. I have a message in to Hotwire, sent this morning (no response yet other than an automated 'we have recieved your message and will get back to you') advising that the hotel does not have free internet, and asking for a refund from Hotwire of $19.90 ($9.95x2). Yes this is the hotel that I hoped to 'win' and I am also hoping that Hotwire will make good on the amenities they advertised on their site. No, the 'pay for internet' is not a new policy of the hotel.
  11. Amenities Restaurant, fitness center and business center. This was the hotel I hoped for, and am very pleased! :)
