this can be closed since we wanted that courtyard we ended up booking directly. Wasnt the best deal but got a deal that included a gift card so it worked and the hotel was great.

this can be closed ended up booking homewood suites directly with a AAA rate for pretty cheap. Its a great hotel

you are always at risk with HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, although I use them a lot. I never like the idea of 4 to a room in Vegas but thats my personal opinion..the rooms are small, you may not get two beds, but I would think bidding 3 people would get you two beds. Almost any harrahs type property you could book direct for much less than your current booking..they all seem to be in the $425- $460 range. I am in Vegas next week and my cousin and his buddies are dead set on fitting 4 to a room at NYNY paying double over what my condo right behind flamingo would have been. I am guessing they will dread their decision. They did say they would have 3 booking directly to guarenetee two beds without paying extra for the 4th person and will just not tell them they have 4 again, all my personal opinion good luck

I bid a 3 star at $60, but it gave me the win and stated it upgraded me to 3 1/2 star. I would have been mad if I would have got a 3 1/2 star I didn't want since I was bidding 3 star on purpose, but it all worked out. I had a reservation at the other Hilton that I can now cancel and save money.

Thats during March madness one of the busiest times of the year so I think thats a good rate. You cant even get that rate staying at what I consider to be a crappy hotel in vegas like excalibur :D

Got excited and couldn’t wait. 4 star-Downtown-Pike Place $90 and amenities as: Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), High-Speed Internet Access Got the Westin! And really happy, especially when looking on the Westin website they wanted $289! I’ll post this separate as a hotel win too. Not sure if I have to or just use this reply. Thanks again

Hope this is the right spot for this: I know sometimes Hotwire will specifically let you pick 2 beds or 1. However wondering if anyone has ever gone in without that option, wanted 2 and got denied, getting 1 instead? Doing a guys night this weekend so if one of us has to crash on the floor, probably not a huge issue, but wanted to know what to expect ahead of time or any thoughts on this.

Just landed Edgewater for $93..We wanted Edgewater but finally decided to roll the dice since we like Pan Pacific too. This is a drop from the $102 prices I was seeing last month. The Best deal I had seen on edgewater was through facebook for like $175 a night.
