Here's what I tried yesterday: San Jose, 4* Started at $49 and increased bid by $2 up to $52 each time adding my free ridbid zones of San Jose South, Mountain View, Newark Fremont and Milpitas. My maximum bid would be $55. Maybe I have to include 3*s?

So sorry, I read your post too fast. This time, I used the HOTWIRE link and I still was able to pull the same results. Except for two small details in the 3* listing. It should correctly list: Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet Access. Guess I shouldn't try to multi-task while at work. :) Hope this helps?

I had a great time as well!! I've been meaning to post it on tripadvisor! They switched me from the Bay Tower to the Marina Tower and put me on the 12th floor with a great view!

Looks like several other people got the same deal for the same dates. Started at $50 and was finally accepted at $70. It's definitely a great deal, but I was hoping for a different hotel. Hopefully the reviews in Tripadvisor well get some good ones soon. Used the PRICELINE link. Thanks!

I could have written this post myself! I started at $50 and ended up with a win for $70 at the exact same hotel and dates. This hotel was my last choice and OF COURSE I get this hotel as a win. Haha! I'm trying to remain optimistic! Have a great time!
