  1. We have stayed at Hyatt's Lost Pines resort near Bastrop (and indeed just got back from there Labor Day weekend) and anytime you book a room directly through the hotel or normal hotel buying channels they absolutely DO charge you the resort fee. However in our limited Priceline bidding expereince and that of our friends (5 total stays combined) we have never been charged the resort fee when using Priceline bidding. The only charges we incurred at the resort itself were dining, etc. that we charged to our rooms. Granted the last bid stay we had was in March of this year. So we are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has stayed recently if they have had to pay the resort fee. It's also probably worth mentioning that we along with our friends are all Platinum Hyatt Passport Members and made sure to link our passports with our reservations so not sure if that makes a difference or not.
  2. Picked up the Hyatt Hill Country Resort for $100/night for 9/29 - 10/2. Helped a coworker win a bid of $90 for the Hyatt Hill Country 9/23-9/26. Stayed here in March of this year for $90 and wasn't charged the $22/resort fee. Interested to hear if anyone else had to pay it or didn't and if anyone knows anything about the policy changing?
  3. Where did you see mention of the resort fee through priceline bidding? We stayed in March - won bid for $90 and didn't have to pay the resort fee. Priceline charged room rate + tax, and at hotel check out all we had on our bill was food + internet (that was waived because of our Hyatt Passport status). We have booked another Hyatt resort directly and had to pay it, but not through PRICELINE.
