There were 5 rebids so I started low, I think at $40. My last rebid was at $65 and I probably would have stopped there anyway. I could get a cancellable reserveration direct through the hotel for $89.
Cupertino $40
Downtown $43
Milipitas $45
Newark-Fremont $50
Redwood City $55
San Jose Airport $60
San Jose South $65 accepted
Total with tax $78.53 hopefully the hotel will live up to its reviews.
I was only able to get the one night at Fisherman's Wharf at this price. I had a really hard time finding any low rates for 8/21 a Saturday night. We are going to stay in San Jose that night now at the Cypress (got it for $65)
Oops I knew I was forgetting something. Those are actually listed as 3* hotels. Priceline isn't showing any 4* in the Fisherman's Wharf zone. I could get a 3* on Hotwire for those days for $120 (I think its the Radisson) I would like to keep the Priceline bidding under $100 since I know what hotel I can get if I use Hotwire.

I want to bid for two nights 1 room in Fishermans Wharf, San Francisco
From the hotels websites:
Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf $239
Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf $199
Hilton Fishermans Wharf $159
Tuscan Inn $161
I haven't seen to many successful bids in this area.
Thanks
Deb
Bid this 2 days ago and couldn't get anything accepted, so I started too high tonight! I had dropped a night so I should have went back down. Oh well, $57 is still less than 1/2 the best rate I could find otherwise.
Bid $75/nite
Tax $19.81
Total $133.81
Thanks, I am actually also looking at priceline. I need to make a list of what I've found so I can make an educated decision on what to do. We've been trying to decide where we wanted to stay after Disneyland and I think we have now narrowed it down to the Ventura/Santa Barbara area.
This hotel came up last night:
8/18/04 for 3 nights
3.5 star
$105 best value
beach access, restaurant, pool, fitness, business center, golf nearby, tennis nearby
Does anyone know what hotel this might be?
Thanks
This same hotel showed up on my search for 12/6/03. I was hoping someone knew which hotel this was. :)
If any finds out anything please let us know.
Thanks
We get in to Miami in the afternoon. We want to check in and be able to "hit the town" some, check out some shops, restaurants, etc. We would really like to be on the beach. Staying downtown doesn't sound that appealing.
2 nights
2 rooms
started bid at 58
accepted at 65
taxes: 21.70
total 151.70
Hope its a nice hotel. This was my first succesful bid.
Thanks

Wasn't sure I wanted the Caribe Hilton (really would have preferred the intercontinental) but decided to go ahead and give it a try at $65 and if I got the Hilton at $65/night how could I really complain. Got it on the first try. Two nights 11/23/06 - 11/25/06 for a precruise stay. Total with tax $155.17
By the way I could have gotten the intercontinental on Hotwire tonight for $174.
