I am looking to book a hotel on possibly hotwire hot rates. When I search, I find examples like a 2 star hotel in South Lake Tahoe, when I click on it, it says the last person got the Traveler's Inn and Suites. But it also says this property has a 4.5 tripadvisor rating, and the price on the hot rate is well above the retail price for Traveler's Inn and Suites. Am I guaranteed to get a hotel with a 4.5 tripadvisor rating, even if the last person got something less? Thanks!
Thanks for the help! You were right, I got the Hollywood Vermont/Sunset Travelodge for $59, for 7/18 - 7/21 (I used the HOTWIRE link on this site). Cheapest non-refundable for this property I could find was $67, so it was a good deal. I was glad to get this one, it's well-reviewed and has FREE PARKING (rare in LA). Thanks!
3* LAX: fitness, pool, restaurant, business, Laundry, internet. 75% customer reviews. $59 for 7/18 - 7/21 2* Hollywood: breakfast, pool, laundry, internet. 80% customer reviews. Also $59 for 7/18 - 7/21 I used the HOTWIRE link. Thanks!

I couldn't remember what I ended up doing for New Orleans. So I searched for Embassy on these forums because that's the hotel I wanted, and found that the 4* was definitely Embassy Suites. So I used your HOTWIRE link and booked it, and sure enough, it was Embassy Suites! Thanks for your help. $79 for Dec 5, total of $95 with fees, plus I know they charge $10 for parking.
I'm still looking for this one. I'm looking at a 3* in Downtown New Orleans, there's breakfast, pool and business, it's now $46 for 7/14 - 7/17. Any ideas?
Monterey, 2.5*, near beach, has a pool, tennis nearby, restaurant, high-speed internet access. Retail shows as $667 (are they kidding?) and it's offered at $126 for 4/8/06. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
