I apparently like to torture myself... not sure if I can document/remember all my bids Started w 33, rebid 40, rebid.. rejected 45 for May 31-June 2 Closed browser. Bid May 31 only, won $44, took offer of extending 1 night, but it came back w 2nd night at $52. I turned it down. Closed browser. Bid 6/2 only, won $44 again. Was offered to extend at same price, so I accepted but it came back as $52, so I took it. Three separate wins for 3 nights. Phew! This is a lot of work.

Bid $30 for 6/28 only, received counter of $45, which I rejected. Re-bid $33 accepted Was hoping for Doubletree, but this should be OK. Need a few more nights, think I'll try Alpharetta.

After several days and freebids, up to $96 for the 4*, and up to $86 for 3 1/2*, decided to try Greentree Area instead. Started bidding at $45 for Greentree 3*, received an offer to up my bid by $13- instead, I returned to bidding, won at $53

Tough weekend- Bluesfest, most hotels do not have all 3 nights available & we did not want to move around. A few days ago we tried 4* up to $149, 3.5* up to $85, and 3* up to 85, no luck. Today we tried 4* up to $141, and 3.5* $85, 95, 105, and hit at $122. Got the Amalfi- never heard of it but it looks great and includes comp breakfasts and cocktail reception. Their website has the weekend, without promos at $197/188/251, so this looks good to me. Thanks for your site, it helped me figure out strategy. (I used your link).
