  1. Ok, here are the amenities that showed when I was looking at the opaque offer: Hotel details Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Business centerFitness centerNear beachPet friendlyPool(s)ResortRestaurant(s)Smoke-free rooms And here is what shows in Hotwire for the Loews amenities after I won: Hotel details Amenities Resort Free Internet Pet friendly Near beach Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Golf nearby Tennis nearby Spa services Children's activities
  2. Update, I saw that the other 4 star on Hotwire for that date was $196 a night, and based on the amenities, looked like the Loews. I chose that, and it was indeed the Loews. 2 nights, 9/10/16 and 9/11/16. Total is $498 with taxes and fees, then the resort fee will be $26 a night and $29 a night for the self parking. going to be fun, the resort looks great. Used the HOTWIRE link on this site to book. Thank you!!
  3. I'll be going to San Diego in September, for the 10th and 11th, Sat and Sun night. Hotwire shows a 4 star with these amenities listed: Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Boutique hotelBusiness centerFitness centerRestaurant(s)Spa services Recommended at 90+% on Hotwire with 14 reviews. No Tripadvisor info listed. Is this Hotel Marisol Coronado?
  4. Wow, tough weekend I think, not sure why though but I haven't looked that deeply into it. Started at 4* in Coronado at $95, just kept adding free re-bid areas(so I could get a 4*) until I finally got this room at the Hard Rock for $190. Two nights, with taxes and fees was $441.40 total. I did avoid Del Mar, Mission Bay, and La Jolla though because we wanted to stay in an area we haven't spent time in. We will have our two small daughters, but hopefully this hotel will work nicely. My 11th wedding anniversary is that weekend. Will be gearing toward a trip to Hawaii(Honolulu) next July(2015), and of course will use the link on this site.
  5. Bid for one night, nice to get this price on late notice. Also gave the option of adding nights for the same price? Wish I would have done this bid first, I had been trying to get 3 nights together in a bid and it wouldn't work. I'll remember that next time. Total wil fees, etc. was $65.32
  6. Been trying to get DTC North or South for under $70 for a 3.3 or 3 star, couldn't after many tries, added Cherry Creek, got accepted at $69. That will work for me. Edit: think the hotel is DTC north
  7. Was looking for a nice 4 star near Disneyland for a visit there with my daughters, started at $80, went all the way up to $100, where it was accepted. 2 night stay. Pretty happy with the hotel selection, looks nice, and a bit away from the freeway. Should be great. I used the PRICELINE link from this site, thanks for everything! Will be looking to book something in the summer in the Redondo/Manhattan Beach area, so I'll be back.
  8. Thanks! I am excited the Hyatt came up, I compared it with the amenities you had listed and knew it was that or Paradise Point Resort, so I knew what I would be choosing. The amenties that showed were: Resort, Near Beach, Oceanfront, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-Speed Internet, Golf nearby, Spa Services At 129 per night, we got 2 rooms, so 4 room nights total for $594.56 after fees and taxes, which was pretty good. (reminder to everyone there is a resort fee and parking charge as well on top of this) For the last night, we actually couldn't get anything on Priceline for less than $105 that we were interested in, so we just booked directly with the Hampton Inn Sea World area. Hotwire did give us the option to add a night, but it was $229 per room per night for Friday, so we passed. Thanks for all your help, your website was invaluable! San Diego here we come!
  9. Ok, so after several offers for 4 star places on PRICELINE, couldn't get anything for 8/24 to 8/27, up to $102. So, I went to HOTWIRE through your link, decided to split the date for 8/24 through the 26th, for 2 nights only, and ended up getting the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay for $129 per night. I know there are fees for resort charges, and parking, but thought it would be worth it this time. Of course, I used your HOTWIRE link. Still need to book that last night for Saturday, but shouldn't be too hard to do.
  10. Thank you! I looked at the hotel, some mixed reviews, think I may pass. I haven't been on this board in years, still a great resource, thank you! I will look for others and will bid through your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links of course.
  11. Hi there, I am looking for 3 nights, 8/24/11 to 8/27/11, and on Hotwire I see a 3 star for $73 per night that shows amenities of: Boutique Hotel, Beachfront, Pool, Laundry I am thinking this could be the Bahia, but I don't know if that would be it. I searched prior posts and see that Bahia usually lists resort and other amenities, but maybe they changed.
