  1. Got the Doubletree Hotel in the Financial District for $73 using your PRICELINE link. Thanks! Very satisfied with the result - this hotel also doesn't charge the "resort" fee that many NYC hotels apparently do so that was also a plus. I like the location as my primary reason for going to NYC is for some events at Barclays Center that weekend so it's a shorter ride from that part of NYC anyway. On my first bid of $58, Priceline game a counteroffer of $82 which I refused. As an FYI I'd given you MTW as one of my zones but I meant MTE so I used MTE in my bidding instead. But thanks again!

  2. Requesting bidding strategy for 3.5* or better priced at $110 or below for 1/13/17 (one night trip). Would like to target the following NYC zones: Chelsea, DT, ESB, MTW, TS, HK. Would strongly prefer 4* in this price range (so going for 4* would be my first goal) but 3.5* is also perfectly fine. (From what I've researched initially 4* in this price range might be doable for this date???) If 4* is not reasonable for this price range will go with 3.5*, no problem. Any help is much appreciated. As always I'll use your PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin my purchases...

  3. Both hotels are Las Vegas North area hotels with casinos. Staying two nights (9/12-9/14)

    Hotel 1:

    - 3.5*

    - $60

    - Amenities: Free Parking, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Golf Nearby

    - Still gathering reviews (so no % recommended)

    Hotel 2:

    -4*

    -$93

    - Amenities: Free Parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Golf Nearby

    - 85% recommended

    - Resort fee ~14.99/night

    Thanks!

  4. Used your strategy and Priceline links and got bid accepted at $128/night at the Marriott Downtown!!! Maybe would've preferred to be closer to Times Square/Midtown but am familiar enough with getting around the city that I guess it doesn't really matter... couldn't be more pleased with this deal at the price. Terrific deal for a very highly regarded hotel, thanks!!!

  5. LOL, sorry for for your experience. Saw a weekend price for $107/night recently and was about to book the hotel myself... until I found out it was a gay hotel located a relatively long walk from the nearest subway station (which was a surprise considering the central location). Priceline should perhaps consider no longer offering this hotel... the reality is there is a very large portion of the population uncomfortable staying at a gay hotel so probably not a good idea to have people bidding on a hotel like that without knowing what they're getting into LOL. The fact that the hotel is located on top of a loud nightclub makes it even worse...

  6. Okay, let's try first for 4* or higher within budget of $140 as you suggest. If that doesn't work think I'll just go with the $154/night deal on Hot.wire if it's still available. This same hotel was actually $142 last week so based on that would expect price to keep going up as that will be a busy weekend I think (annual Puerto Rican day parade; HBO PPV boxing at Madison Square Garden).

  7. I bid up to $107 using your PRICELINE links and bidding strategy up through the bidding for Downtown/Strip North/Strip South and was rejected. I didn't pursue your bidding strategy for 4th rebid zone/Strip North/Strip South because I preferred the Priceline.Express price of $110/night (after discount) for 4* Downtown (which I knew would be the Golden Nugget) over a random 4* (e.g., Tropicana) they might have given me on the Strip at a higher price (which would have been a long shot anyway given my price range and the hotel rates that particular weekend).

I did use your discount link to make the purchase on Priceline.Express. Very satisfied with this deal, thanks! Have stayed on the Strip every other time I've been in Vegas so saw this as an opportunity to try a new location as I've heard the Golden Nugget is a very good quality hotel. Will have a rental car anyway so getting back and forth between the Strip isn't a problem. Thanks again!

  8. Hilton San Diego ($209) - Don't want to pay that much

Palomar San Diego ($150) - I'd consider it for like $120 but I'll have a car and looks like they want $35/day for parking so no thanks

Ramada Gaslamp ($85) - This one looks doable. Would you recommend just taking this over trying for another 3* in Gaslamp? I'm looking at the Priceline list of hotels and it looks like there maybe aren't any 3* PRICELINE hotels in Gaslamp (skips from 3.5 down to 2.5)? If there aren't any Priceline 3* hotels in Gaslamp I'll probably just go with this one or try for 3.5/4* in surrounding area. Sorry - I'm not knowledgeable about San Diego hotels so let me know what you think, thanks!!!

  9. Staying in San Diego 9/18-9/19 (2 nights) and would like to stay in 3* hotel or better paying a maximum of $100/night. Would very greatly prefer to stay in Gaslamp Quarter area but also willing to stay in areas immediately nearby, such as Downtown-Harbor Island and Hillcrest-Balboa Park areas. Will have car and am traveling back and forth between downtown San Diego and Tijuana (won't actually be taking car into Tijuana though).

Ready to bid immediately so any help appreciated, thanks!!!
