:D
This is bad news. For a long time, The Little America was a 4-star on Priceline and Hotwire. But then Priceline moved it to 3.5 stars, so it became easy to avoid. The problem with this property is that it's really two properties in one. The motel (motor lodge) side, where you park outside the door and walk up the steps is not worthy of a 3 star rating. It's very nice, but it's still a motor lodge.
The tower is easily a 4-star.
They used to give the tower to Priceline customers when it was available, but they stopped doing that and they have consistently been putting Priceline winners in the Motor Lodge for some time. HOPE with the new Priceline rating that this changes. If not, Priceline has screwed up the situation yet again.
Not a 3.5* in my book. Not a bad hotel. Plenty of room if you are bringing your ski's in or something. But for the business traveler, it falls short. It has an indoor pool, but not something an adult is going to use (windows into the main lobby). The "gym" is off the pool and it's not a real gym. I usually stay at the Hilton or Sheraton (4-stars on both Priceline and Hotwire) in downtown and there is a HUGE difference.
I did use the HOTWIRE links from this site. Do you guys get correlation on that immediately? I use your site pretty much weekly and usually from the same cities, so I really just typically start here and then use the links to get to Hotwire or Priceline. I rarely come back to post my win unless there's something unusual.
I hadn't seen this listed as a 3.5 star before.
Trip Advisor reviews are very good. It's web price is currently $136. We will see!

Yes, you can pretty much be sure you are getting the Aria or Cosmo (south) or Venetian, Wynn/Encore, if you do your homework here.
The tropicana is pretty nice now, but it's pretty far south and far from the mid strip area. I avoid it by bidding 5 star only in this area.
I had two emails today back and forth and they don't understand that it is an issue. I gave up trying to fix the problem and booked the extra night at a different property down at Poipu, which I posted. Thanks.
Needed one night and decided to move down to Poipu, where we are already staying starting the next day. This looks like an unreported property and gets good reviews on TA, but not yet rated on Hotwire. Took a chance.
Seeing now that I could book a cancellable rate on many websites for only $5 more or so for the 1BR and could get the 2BR for another small adder of $5 or so, so wish I didn't do this. Will call them to see if I can upgrade my purchase to a 2BR by paying their nominal difference and will report back if sucessful. Will also report my take on this property since I couldn't find much on this.

When I do a new bid (using the link above) and use 4 adults, I still get the outrageous taxes/fees, as I do when I use the "extend" option within HOTWIRE. Both at $119/night.
when I tried a new search with 2 adult, & 2 children, I get $108 and "normal" fees/taxes.....
If I got to 3 adults and 0 children, I get fees somewhere between the 4/0 and 2/2 (adult/children) fees....
Their own website charges the same fees for 4/0 as they do for 2/2 (and is actually NET cheaper because of it) than HOTWIRE.
Have asked HOTWIRE to look into if it is a mistake. Hope you are right!
The "accessible stuff" is:
Accessible path of travel
In-room accessibility
Accessible bathroom
Handicapped parking
Roll-in shower
Won this as we have 4 adults and didn't want to chance Priceline leaving us short of beds. Also appreciate the hotel shuttle.

Question I have however. Found out after the fact that we need to extend 1 night. When using the link in the confirmation email (or trying a brand new enquiry), they are offering Saturday night at $128 - great! However..... They have a $116.72 "tax recovery charges & fees". The first two nights, these fees totaled only $43.76 (total).
What is going on here? Thanks!
Wanted something in this area for just sleeping after a wedding at a nearby resort. Really wanted to avoid parking and resort fees, and this one promised there would be neither, along with solid reviews.

Used the link for HOTWIRE after studying amenities and switching back and forth until I knew what I wanted to do. Because there will be 4 of us, went the HOTWIRE route rather than PRICELINE (didn't want to end up with one bed). Originally wanted to be closer to Cambridge or Back Bay to make it easier to go see the fireworks on the Charles River, but after reading about the onslaught of people, decided against being close. Saw a Hyatt Cambridge at a good price, but arriving the afternoon of the 4th made it seem like it could be too crowded of an area. So ended up going for the Intercontinental (knowing that's what it was), despite not being excited to be in that part of town. Good area for doing some sight-seeing and getting in from Logan (Silver line to South Station) and getting a car on departure to head out.

Used free rebids starting at $65 and last failed bid was $71. Raised by $1...
Used PRICELINE quickquote form on this site.
PRICELINE is a little friendlier for SLC downtown as Little America is classified as the only 3.5 star hotel. I usually get it for $55'ish per night.
They then banish you to the motel portion of the hotel which is really 3-star at best (the tower is 4+ stars).

used Hotwire quickquote form to link to HOTWIRE.
Using HOTWIRE Quickquote form at Betterbidding.com, narrowed the offers to likely Aria (casino, 5 star, south strip). Booked.
I did use the PRICELINE links to start my purchase.
Used the info here to establish a strategy.
First bid at $84, denied. Upped bid by $3-5 each using free rebid zones until presto!
Published rate was $129 (savings of $30)

Not pleased to see this re-classified (once again) as a 4-star. If I am put into Tower, that is fine. If they put me in the motor lodge, I will complain loudly.
By the way, got this with my first bid. With all the free rebids available, I didn't start low enough.
As always, used the link from BetterBidding to priceline.
