  1. This country is based on free enterprize. I am free to "shop" at Macy's and Bloomingdales. One doesn't want my business, the other one will accept me and my checkbook with open arms. I prefer to do business where I'm treated well, fairly and with respect. :) Bad press is far more effective than good press, and in the business world, referrals are the cash cow. It will take some time, but I agree, the end is coming.

  2. She obviously does read this board. I used TOBB a few times. Found this one after I had started a question over there and it crashed. I posted my winning bid here and found it GREAT here. After things were up and running, a different moderator asked if I was succesful, I posted my win. Bam! :) I was banned without a reason or way to ask (she's ignoring my ezbox) Last I heard the web is a free country. My only offense was to post on a rival board. I'm over it, I don't need or want the attitude. Thanks to all here for the great board.

  3. Stayed in March of 2005. Would add that the pool is great for the kids. It's indoor/outdoor. They can swim under the glass wall into the heated outdoor pool. Jacuzzi area could use some updating. Nice sauna also.

The small fitness center was proabably adequate (i'm no expert). There is a tanning bed free to use. Also coin laundry available.

Internet access in the business center, but charge to your credit card.

We ate the Easter brunch and it was unbelievable! It was excellent food but also presented as an art form! $20 for adults.

  4. Radisson. $52 March 31st one night. I believe this is a converted Holiday Inn with Holidome although it looks nothing like it now. Very nice hotel. We only stayed overnight with late checkin of 9:45. We were dissapointed the pool/hot tub was already closed (supposed to be 10:00) we needed the hot tub after a long drive. Easy checkin.

We ordered room service under the wire for time, and it came fast, hot, and was very acceptable.

Pretty standard room with the usual amenities. The toiletries were above average.

We ate the breakfast buffet which was the usual affair, but when the waitress came with the bill she said we didn't eat enough to warrant the cost (even though reasonable) and it was on her! Very nice.

Very accessible off interstate and would stay again.

  5. Stayed a couple of months ago, and I believe this hotel comes up quite often. *3. Overheard another customers room rate while at the desk....109.00. I paid $45.

Address is on Regency Parkway, which is off Dodge in the Westroads Mall area. (just across Dodge) There is a great Japenese steakhouse within walking distance called Kobe. Also near, is Grisanti's Italian restaurant. This area is under heavy construction, but seems Omaha always is.

This was a nice hotel. We requested 2 doubles and lowest floor. We recieved 2 doubles and ground floor with walk out patio to parking lot which was convienent.

Room was adequate and clean and well maintained. Also a very quiet hotel, no screaming kids running the halls :)

The hotel offers a free for guests business center (room key entrance) 2 internet accessible computers, lazer printer, fax, and stocked with everything down to paper clips. Very nice amenity, as I've stayed at hotels that charge by the minute for their internet.

There is a small fitness center with TV's to watch.

Indoor pool and spa area was nice with a sauna also.

We did have a problem. One of our shopping bags was removed by the maid. We had asked for towels only, no cleaning. It did take several calls from us to get action. But in the end, the manager immediately credited our credit card for the items in the bag. The reciepts were also in the bag, so he took our word for it. He treated us (3) to free breakfast in the restaurant. He was dissapointed in his staff and very apologetic.

The restaurant (The Chophouse) was very good, although we only had breakfast buffet. Better than average, with omeletts made to order, fresh cut fruit and good variety of everything else.

I would be happy to stay here again.

  6. Hello,

I found this site yesterday and feel I can ask a question without getting a "lashing" :) I bid yesterday on Minneapolis DT and Metrodome 3* up to $37 with no luck. I based my bid on the fact that I've seen the Four Points come up several times at or below $35. I understand free re-bidding. My question....My parents are travelling with us, (we're bidding for 2 rooms) is it acceptable to use their info and credit card to avoid the 72 hour wait? Or will it still be my ISP?
