The hotwire hotel list has this listed as a 4* hotel but it looks like most of the recent wins for this property have been in the 3.5* category. I still had a pretty good guess that I was going to get the cliffs with the "oceanfront hotel" amenity. Taxes and fees were an outrageous $138.50 but there aren't many options in that area during the summer. Tried a few days ago bidding between $50-65 in Disneyland-Anaheim-Convention Center using Orange, Seal Beach/Sunset, Buena Park/Knotts Berry Farms, and Cypress as free re-bid zones with no luck. Tried again today up to $70 and got a counter-offer of $83. I added a zone and went up to $75 and my bid was accepted. It's only $14 cheaper than booking it straight through priceline but oh well. Never stayed at this particular property but familiar with the area. $92.78 after taxes and fees. Used the better bidding PRICELINE link.

PRICELINE EXPRESS deal listed as $75/night. I had a 10% off coupon. $169.92 for two nights including taxes and fees. Oh well, I'm sure Red Lion will be nice.

I actually went ahead and booked it and it was in fact Secrets Silversands. $196 per night is not bad for this property! Booked it using the HOTWIRE link from this thread.

Taxes & fees: $13.79 Total price: $63.79 I have been trying to bid in this area for the past three days with the dates of 6/25/11-6/27/11 ranging from $45 up to $60 in the above zones plus Laguna Beach, Seal Beach, Disney Anaheim North, and Dana Point with no success. Saturday night seems to have been the problem. Since we aren't going to Disneyland on Saturday, I figured I'd try to get one close to the park for Sunday night only. Doubletree lets you check in after 11am, without a fee, if they have rooms available so we'll still be able to take the shuttle and get to the park around midday. I will post my success for Saturday night in a separate topic.
