Started out with $51 bid on PL. Denied and received counter offer for $61. Accepted counter offer and won Country Inn and Suites on Astronaut Blvd. We have stayed here twice before and love it. I believe this is the only 2.5 in Cape Canaveral on PL, so as long as you don't expand your search area outside of Cape Canaveral, you have a pretty good shot at this one.

Won Extended Stay Amreica West End Location on July 22. Listing Fetatures Suite Guest Laundry price was $55 but I have seen it at $56 also This looks like a new one on the TN Hotwire list The hotel was nice, better than a typical extended stay type hotel. There were more short term travelers than families living there which you can sometimes run into with the efficiencies in cities. Hotel was safe, secure, clean, basic, no breakfast or cookies on the pillow, but we were pleased for the area and price. Broadway where all the honky tonks and dining is about a 5 min drive on the same street or Taxi is $10. There is an Outback steakhouse across the street and tons of other dining in a 1-2mile drive. Very safe and noce part of town. great deal becauseWest End Vanderbilt hotels are quite pricey.

I was hoping for less than $70 per night. Maybe they are just overbooked for the day I need a room? I was hoping for country inn because i need the cruise parking and shuttle. I believe they ar the only 2.5* in the area, so I am hesitant to add 3*. The money saved may be wasted on parking and shuttle and would be more than booking direct. Will continue to play with the numbers and see what happens.

I want cape canaveral country inn and suites. this is the only 2.5* on PL in this area from my understanding, just trying to strategize the right price to bid. bid $50 2.5* rejected next day bid $55 rejected today bid $60 and added coco beach area rejected Seems as if prev posters are getting this for $50-60. What am I doing wrong? Am I bidding to early out?

The issue is it is a regular room not a condo. I expected a kitchen, etc. Called Kingston and they said they do have "condo" rooms, but Hotwire assigned me one of their regular rooms. When booking this it was very important to me to have use of a kitchen because of some health concerns. We try not to eat out if possible. Called Hotwire and they said they only promise the property is a condo but not that our room will be a condo. Very misleading. Also, the Hotwire posting said this property is near the beach. Kingston said we have an Oceanview standard room. Definitely not complaining about having an ocean view, but it leads me to believe it is the wrong property alltogether. When I mentioned this to the Hotwire rep she got an attitude with me and told me she wold call the property and ask them to move me to a non-oceanview standard room. Very diplomatic huh? The customer service people are very rude and not helpful. I am at a loss for what to do. Is there someone further up on the chain of command to appeal to for help?

I ended up getting the Wyndham Rio Del Mar Resort a 5***** resort and it was only $78 on lastminutetravel.com. It is about 15 minutes from the airport, but we decided to go ahead and rent a car, so we don't have to deal with cab fares wor the weekend. Even with the $25 for Enterprise we are still spending less than anything I've seen on PL or HW. This deal was just too good to pass up. Thanks so much for all you do to help us. :)

Seems like a lot of people are getting this hotel through PRICELINE. Do the rooms won at the Caribe Hilton on PRICELINE have 2 beds? If not, can you get a rollaway?
