The hotel thought to be the Holiday Inn was the $138 rate but when I went to book yesterday, it was no longer showing. The one thought to be the Indigo was $162+tax, making it $214. So a bit more than booking direct. I should have booked last week when the rates were lower. Again, appreciate your help!!

Hi, I ended up booking the Hotel Indigo direct. It ended up being cheaper and I knew what property I was getting. The direct rate was $175 plus tax = $205. It seems like the tax is much higher when you go thru Hotwire.

I am trying to identify the following properties for the night of November 4, 2016 in Brooklyn New York: 3.5* Downtown Brooklyn $138 85% recommend - Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Indoor Pool, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pools, Restaurant, Business Center, Self Service Laundry - I don't see any hotels in the hotel listing that match this 3.5* Downtown Brooklyn Boutique $162 90% recommend - Pet Friendly, Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center - The only hotel in the Hotel List is NU Hotel but this hotel doesn't list Free Breakfast - When I clicked on this last night, it said the last person who booked this got the Dazzler Hotel 4* Downtown Brooklyn $175 85% recommend - Pet Friendly, Indoor Pool, Smoke Free, Pools, Restaurant, Business Center, Free Internet, Golf Nearby - The only 4* in the hotel list is the Sheraton Brooklyn but the amenities are not a match. This hotel does not list Fitness. Appreciate your help!

Yes, the first property with the long list of amenities is rated as a 2.5*. The second option, with only 2 amenities is 3* rated. Hopefully more choices will get posted. Otherwise I might just book direct to know what I am getting. La Quinta is listed online for $71/night... Thank you

Tried bidding a couple of days ago up to $49, all were rejected. Started again yesterday with $49, immediate counter offer for $63. I continued adding zones and ended up with the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Airport West for $58. Seems like a good deal. There is a convention in town and prices are slightly elevated through Wed. 8/17. I bid through your PRICELINE link. Thanks

I surprised myself and won the Hilton for $70 plus taxes. I was bidding for a 3 1/2* thinking that I would get Little America. Instead on my last bid I input $70 and it was accepted and then they pulled it up to a 4*. I bid through the PRICELINE link. Thank you

My max for a 4* would be ~$75.

Good question, looks like I could get Little America on Hotels.com for $99. 3* to 3.5* on Hotwire for less than $60. I may just drop down to 31/2 stars on Priceline or Hotwire to come in under the $99. Open to any ideas you may have. Thanks

For this trip, since little was available via HOTWIRE, I booked the hotel (Little America) along with our airline reservation on Southwest and got a pretty good deal.

Tried using Priceline through your link for one night in Salt Lake. I had seen a post for July in the high 50's so I thought I might get that price in June. Started at $51 and kept add rebid zones up to $63, with no luck. All bids were rejected. Any ideas on what I should try to be successful? Thank you

It is at VLAC. It is on the water/beach and is some type of rowing or kayak club I believe. Does that help?

Trip purpose is to go to a wedding. We'll go a day early to sight see. I love HOTWIRE but there are just very few options on those dates unless we go out of town a ways... Budget, I would like to stay around $150 but that is barely getting a 2* hotel that weekend. Disappointing but my dates are fixed.

Another option, there is a 2* Seaworld-Mission Bay-Shelter Island with laundry and internet for $114 (same dates and people). Possibly a concern that it is only recommended by 45% of Hotwire customer reviews. Thank you

I clicked the HOTWIRE link as you asked. Looks like the same hotel is now $100, quite a jump in less than 12 hours. Can you id the hotel? Very little is available in 'central' San Diego at this time due to a comic book convention. I do not know if more will appear as it gets closer or if the rooms will get booked.
