  1. My wife and I have stayed at GVR before and a rental car is easy to use to get to the strip. Most casinos with self-park do not charge. Even those that have valet parking often don't charge for the Valet beyond a tip. I believe this was the case at Luxor, Wynn, and some others when we were last there with a car. GVR is one of the nicest places to stay in Vegas, IMO. I love the Wynn, but the rooms at GVR are "prettier" for lack of a better word. I don't think you'd be disappointed. The GVR casino seems to be frequented by a lot of locals from my time there. The dealers were always friendly as well. Also, if you stay there, you can check out the District at GVR right across the street. It's full of shopping and restaurants, including one place I remember as having very good pizza.
  2. Andy, I'm not an expert, but I just booked these exact same amenities (with a TA rating of 4.0/5 and over 180 reviews) and got Green Valley Ranch Resort.
  3. I just booked this using this site's HOTWIRE link. I can confirm that it IS Green Valley Ranch Resort.
  4. Thanks. That's what I was thinking because it seemed a good fit with the TA rating and number of reviews. I'm somewhat hesitant because it's my wife's birthday and I already made the mistake of booking on priceline and getting the Trump. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the Trump (with a steep cancellation fee), but it'll let me find something else. We stayed at GVR once before and she loved it. The rate seems a bit too good to be true.
