  1. $51 ($64 after taxes) The Amenities were: Indoor Pool Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet I did use the Better Bidding HOTWIRE link.
  2. Used the BB PRICELINE search box - pretty good deal :) 6/17-6/18/10
  3. I did use the betterbidding PRICELINE link. The Chase Suites in Lincoln looks quite nice with free breakfast/social hour, etc. It was listed under the 2.5* rating on priceline. The normal price for a room runs around $100.00 + taxes.
  4. I believe your best bet would be to find a hotel in the Bloomington area. This would allow your daugther to park at the Mall of America and take the light rail into downtown. The light rail is safe and a lot cheaper (about $2/person each way) than paying for parking in downtown. The last stop of the light rail in downtown Minneapolis drops off less than three blocks away from the Orpheum. The show finishes around 10:30, and the light rail runs until at least 1:00 AM, leaving you plenty of time to get back down to the mall area. Most of the hotels on American Boulevard (the main drag in Bloomington) are in good shape (the Travelodge being the exception) as well. Hope this helps.
  5. I would agree - Most of the choices you listed are a LONG ways away from Knotts, and LA traffic makes it difficult to get around. Stick with an area around Buena Park/Orange County. The Disneyland area is only about a 15-20 minute drive (with NO freeways).
  6. This reservation was made through HOTWIRE on March 7th, 2009, so the price may have changed. This was one of their "hidden" offers for a full-sized sedan.
  7. March 15, 2009 I did a bid for $45.00 on a 3* hotel in the Redondo Beach area (Just one night: Friday April 3rd - Saturday April 4th) I was hoping for the Residence Inn which I had seen listed as a typical winner. Priceline "upgraded" me into the 3.5* Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach. It looks nice and is right on the water, but there are more upcharges (like parking) at this hotel vs. the Residence Inn. Total charges were under $60.00 after taxes though.
