I got what I expected. I can't wait. I'm doing research on another hotel for two more nights in a different area of Puerto Rico.

Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter 401 K Street San Diego, CA 92101 I started at $65 and was denied. I added La Mesa and raised my bid to $70 and it was accepted. I've stayed here several times and have been happy with each visit - especially since the hotel is located next to the tram/trolley which takes me straight to Qualcomm Stadium for Chargers games.

Thanks for the help but none of the hotels were close enough to the beach for a wedding we were attending in Encinitas. Some friends ended up renting a beach house and we pitched in.

So you're saying if I bid Strip South on a 3.5* hotel, with the knowledge that Monte Carlo might be the only hotel, Priceline could automatically pick the Westin (4*) for me... without choice? Or, do I have to accept the Westin as an upgrade and give my credit card info again?

I added the Madison Square Garden/Convention Center and raised my bid to $120 and it was accepted. I am planning to stay from 3/27/09 - 3/31/09. What do you think is the best price to start the bidding at? I haven't seen anyone win this bid recently but I've seen it go for about $135 a night - it looks like the only 4* hotel in Times Square as well. Any help would be great.
