  1. A friend of mine got the Palazzo with a Priceline Express deal for $196/night. This was a great deal for the first weekend of March Madness. The regular rate for these two nights is $299. Unfortunately he didn't ask me about this site before the purchase, so he didn't use the site's PRICELINE link. I'll make sure he does next time. The amenities were as follows: Outdoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Restaurant Business Center Casino Fitness Center Guest Favorite Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher)
  2. I just had a friend purchase a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal (about an hour ago) with those exact same amenities for March 22 and 23rd and it was the Palazzo.
  3. 4* White House - Capitol Hill area Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill Amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Rate per night: $72.00 Nights: 1 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $18.47 Subtotal: $90.47 Trip total: $90.47 I used your HOTWIRE link to make this purchase. I tried to get a 4* on PRICELINE (using your link), for this date, before making this purchase. I bid for a 4* in the Convention Ctr - Capitol Hill area and used 7 free rebids from $40-$68 without winning. So I just ended up making the purchase on Hotwire for $72.
  4. 4-star Hotel in Dupont Circle - Embassy Row Hotel Palomar Amenities: Boutique Hotel Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Check-in: 11/30/2011 Check-out: 12/02/2011 1 room 2 Adults Rate per night: $106.00 Nights: 2 Rooms: 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $41.53 Subtotal: $253.53 Of course I used your HOTWIRE link to make the purchase...
  5. I no longer need a bidding strategy. I kind of made up my own and I didn't win. I bid from $80 - 90 for 4* in (Convention Center - Capitol Hill) and started again and bid $80 - 90 in (Dupont Circle - Woodley Park). I also bid from $75-95 for 3.5* in (Convention Center - Capitol Hill) with no luck. I then I went to hotwire (using your link) and purchased the 4* I found in dupont circle for $106. It was the Palomar Washington DC. I will post this result in the Hotwire section. Thanks for the earlier response to my request.
  6. Yes, I'm willing to pay more for a 4* than for a 3.5*. But, of course, I'm not willing to pay more than the $106 that I found on Hotwire.
  7. I have been searching for a while for washington, dc. Nov 30 - Dec 2. I found a 4* on hotwire in dupont circle for $106. I want dupont circle or convention center/capitol hill either 3.5* or 4*. Can u,help me with a bidding strategy. Of course I have started all of my searches with ur links. Thx!!!
  8. Looks like 87AustinAg just won the Cosmopolitan on Priceline. 5* Las Vegas (Strip South) Cosmopolitan, $155 ... 3/21/11-3/23/11 5 Star Priceline Las Vegas
  9. This win isn't showing up in the calendar of wins. I messed up the formatting of the date in the title. Could one of the mods correct that for me? Thx...
  10. Started bidding @ $50 won with a $75 bid. I saw on the calendar of wins that IMCJL already won the Aria for $80 for Jan 17th & 18th, so I wanted to see if I could get lower than that. Started bidding & searching with your PRICELINE link. Aria Resort And Casino Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South 3730 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 702-590-7111 Check-In Date: Sun, Jan 16, 2011 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Tue, Jan 18, 2011 / 12:00 PM Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $75.00 Subtotal: $150.00 Taxes & Fees: $27.74 Total Charges*: $177.74
  11. I used a $40 Groupon bonus cash that I had in my account so my winning bid was $35 + the $40 bonus cash = $75. In December I probably bid 7 or 8 times trying to get a room for this date and was rejected all the way up to $95 (including the bonus cash.) Hotwire had a 4* @ the airport for $89 so I thought Priceline was jacking up the price because I was using the bonus cash. I had a friend try the same bid in December and she was rejected all the way up to $95 without using bonus cash. (So I guess I was wrong) Tried again today starting at $60 (including the bonus cash) and won @ $75. As always used your PRICELINE link. 12. Started at $60. Used all but one of my free rebids and won with a $90 bid. Started bidding, as always, with your PRICELINE link. 13. I was going to purchase this on Hotrwire, the price there was $85/night. Came here to check out the recent wins first. I saw that atreu posted a recent win for the Sheraton @ $70 so I decided to go the Priceline route also. Started @$50 & got the win @ $70. As always, I used your PRICELINE link.
  14. I just booked an $88 4.5* for 3/19-3/21 on Hotwire. Central Strip Condo. It is Planet Hollywood Towers.

  16. Bid through your PRICELINE link. Was surprised to get anything on my first bid, because Newport Beach is pretty packed on the 4th of July. Probably should have started bidding $20 lower, but I'm happy with the price and hotel. Thanks again!!!!!
  17. Jeffrade, Thanks for the offer. I just sent you a PM with my info. mmh8
  18. Going to Vegas for the first weekend of March Madness. Started bidding at $80. After my first bid got a counter offer for $133. Using all my rebids ended up paying $125 for the Wynn. Didn't want the Trump but took the risk and it paid off. I started my bidding with your PRICELINE link... Thanks again for the GREAT site!!!
  19. slick_gd and thereuare, Thanks for your help!!! If I do book it I will definitely use your HOTWIRE link to begin my travel purchase..

  21. The $210 rate is still available. Hyatt offered the same deal a few months ago and the rooms at the $210 rate sold out in 2 or 3 days. I just checked Hyatt.com and the rate is still available when you use the TT067 offer code.

Get an ocean view room at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa and enjoy daily two-for-one breakfasts and award-winning restaurants (a $25 value) . Valid through December 26. Upgrade to a deluxe oceanview room for $20 more or a deluxe oceanfront room with an unobstructed view of the Pacific for $50 more. I booked this deal back in May for a September stay. It was only bookable for about 3 days until the rate was no longer available. http://waikiki.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp Use Offer Code: TT067 Book by 11:59 PM on 09/16/08 (HST) Hawaii standard time
  23. FYI: I checked rates at the Sheraton Maui about a week before the trip and found that rates were now $20 lower per night than the price that I bid back in March. (I bid $250 in March and rates were $230 when I checked before the trip.) I called Priceline, informed them of this and they refunded $171 back to my credit card and gave me a $10 bid credit for my next Priceline bid. I didn't know what to expect from Priceline, but just thought others on this board should also have this info, just in case prices are lower when you travel.
  24. Thanks for the info. I already booked an ocean view room at the Sheraton Princess for $157/night for those days. I can always cancel that reservation, but I think I would rather be at the Sheraton than the Outrigger. If I do find something on HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, I will definitely use your links.
