My grad school classmates and I are having a small reunion in Boston from 8/15-8/16 8/16-8/17. I have never been to Boston before, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good area to stay at? I prefer downtown area where it is accessible and where we can walk around and check out the city. Thank you.

I stayed at the Candlewood Suites near Columbus Airport last Friday, and I want to bring up a point to those who are thinking of staying (or who ended up getting this hotel on Priceline or Hotwire). The hotel does NOT offer shuttle service to Columbus Airport, therefore you have to arrange your own transportation. The hotel can arrange taxi for you though. On the other hand, Springhills and Towneplace Suites, which are across the street from Candlewood, both offer airport shuttle.

Got the hotel on first try with $40. Total is $54 after fees and taxes. Booked the hotel from the link at this site.

Got Hyatt Regency for $55 on the first try. Was hoping to get Hilton O'Hare due to its proximity to the airport (have to catch a flight that departs at 7am), but won't complaint. Used the PRICELINE link for the bidding.

For those of you unfamiliar with San Francisco, although this hotel belongs to "San Mateo" instead of "San Francisco Airport", it is only 5 minutes away by car, and they do offer complimentary airport shuttle.

Hi, I will be going to Niagara Falls with my girlfriend on 4/27 and we will be staying over for one night. I have done some research and have concluded that Marriott is the best one for us. Does anyone know if Priceline or Hotwire offer Marriott in Niagara Falls? I am leaning towards Hotwire this time because you never know for sure which hotel you will get with Priceline. Also, if I get a hotel on Priceline or Hotwire, is it possible to upgrade the room to let's say....a room with fall view and jacuzzi? Or room you get on Priceline/Hotwire will just be standard room? Thank you.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend when the huge blizzard and snowstorm hit Ohio. Hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. Close to a shopping mall and have many restaurants within 5 minutes of drive. Chipotle, Chili, Macaroni Grill etc... Got the hotel for $43, total is $56.99 after taxes and fees.

Another hotel near Columbus Airport owned by Marriott. First bid $40 -> rejected. After 24 hours, made 2nd bid. Got it for $45, and total is $59.89 (all taxes and fees included). Hotel also provides airport shuttle from 5am. Overall a very good deal as most hotels near Port Columbus Airport are around $100 if you book from the hotel website directly.

Towneplace Suites Columbus-Gahanna for 40. Total is $53.98 (with taxes and service fees) Hotel provides airport shuttle.
