  1. I just check the Doubletree Hotel website, it's even cheaper if you booked direct on the Doubetree's website, save the priceline fee.
  2. wow, I just saw the 4* Doubletree Hotel by San Jose airport for $89/night. This is on priceline. What's going on around the airport, why is it so cheap? :)
  3. Thanks to other member posting their recent win. I got 4* Pittsburgh (Downtown) Renaissance Pittsburgh for $72 on 8/6/07.
  4. Thanks for sharing your winning bid. From reading your post, I bid on priceline for pittsburgh downtown 4*, first bid at $69 got rejected and then $72 and got Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel for 8/6/2007.
  5. Just looking for something close to I-79 for an overnight stay while we are driving. I saw Hotwire has a 3* for $59 in the airport area. Looks like it's Crowne Plaza from the Hotwire list. So, I just put a bid for $50 on priceline for the Pittsburgh airport area and got Crowne Plaza on the first bid. Gee... maybe I should have try a lower price huh? :) Just glad we can get something cheap and 3*. It's nicer than some off the highway motel for the same price!
  6. Hi Ramsi, Well, I try to bid up to $115 for 4* and $85 for 3*/2.5* and still get rejected for Aug.2nd. I really want something close and clean. I read a recent user said he booked directly at Country Inn and Suites and got a good deal. So, I went on (thru. the support page) to Country Inn and Suites and booked 3 rooms for 89.10 Canadian Dollar (CAD)/night/room using AAA member discount. This is for Aug.2nd. I just saw someone posted, in order to get a 4* for Aug.4, he paid $181 for Shelton Fallviews on hotwire. I also got an email from a very helpful user recently, she told me that she stop by the Country Inn this past weekend while she was there, she said it looks great, the hotel is only 8 weeks old, free parking, free breakfast and 1 block from the Fall. I was so glad someone just been there and share with me this information. Hope this help you!

  8. Humm... no luck on 3* in Niagara Falls on Priceline, I got rejected. I saw HOTWIRE has 2* in Niagara Falls for $49 but I couldn't find 2* in the Hotwire list here. Any idea what hotel this is? The 2* hotel in Niagara Falls has Amenities: Pool, High-speed Internet Access, Restaurant. Thanks!
  9. Sorry for taking so much of your time and I really appreciate your patient. Yes, I think for $60/night for 3* in the Niagara Falls, Ontario zone will work. Please let me know what you will advice for bidding. Thanks again!
  10. I would like to spend around $60/night/room for 3* that's close to the Falls. I read the review on Courtyard Niagara Falls looks like a good location for $60. Of course this is in June this year, I wonder if I can get this deal in August?
  11. I think we can take our chances, I just want to know what are the options. Our kids are really young, so at least one can sleep with us and the other can sleep in a pack-n-play. (for 2 adults and 2 children each room) One of the room is for my parents, which only need one bed anyway. I think we can afford the risk of getting only one bed.
  12. I am looking for 3* or better at Niagara Falls, Ontario. I need 3 rooms (6 adults and 4 children) for one night on Aug.2nd. We have young children, would like to visit the Marineland (or other fun things for kids), we don't need a good window view, but close to the falls will be good, so we can walk there for the night lights. I saw someone got Courtyard (which I think is a few street behind the main street) for $60/night, that would be ideal. I would like to hear suggestion on kids friendly places to go in Niagara Falls area. I went to the website and check on Marineland. It said you can buy a season pass for $5 more and come back the next day. I wonder if it has some kinda picture on the pass? I have relatives will be going there a few days before us, I wonder if we can share the season pass, use them after they are done and split the cost!? Anyone know if this will work? Thanks for your help!
  13. Thanks for your help, I almost booked the Hotwire deal, it looks really good. But my friend told me someone recently bid for $55 on priceline and got the Holiday Inn Hotel And Suites Toronto Markham . So, I give it a try for $50 for 3* in the Markham area in Toronto on priceline and got two rooms for Aug.3-6 $50/night/room. I am pretty happy even though I kick myself wishing I had try something even lower. But my friend who bid on priceline a couple of weeks ago paid $70 for the same room in the same time period! :) So, should I post this result somewhere? Like Canada under priceline bid!?? Thanks again for your help!
  14. Hi all, I am new here, hope I post in the right place. I just heard about you guys on the Clark Howard radio show! :) Before I heard about this site, I booked online directly with Staybridge Suites at MARKHAM $179.99/night for 2 BDRM STE 1 KNG 1 QUEEN NONSMOKING with AAA rate. They said max. for 6 people. I was wondering if this is a good deal and if I could find something on hotwire or priceline for better? I saw Staybridge is on the hotwire and priceline list. But I think it's only a 2* ??? This one in Markham is suppose to be new, it looks really good in picture! I wonder if anyone stay there before? We actually have 4 adults and 4 children in this room, but two of them are under 2 yrs old, I figured it's not a big deal if we have more than 6 people!? We are looking for something that's got space for the kids, pool to swim (to get some of those extra energy out!) and free breakfast. We want to be close by Scarborough to visit family, any suggestion? Thanks!
