Luger's is the best, I went there a few times and once I went with a large group and someone in my party ordered the steak well done and almost got thrown out. It was great, the waiter would not allow them to order the steak that way. Truly an awesome joint, no menus, good stuff. Pricey but you can't be worried about that when you are having a a Luger steak!

Thanks! My office is actually right on 3rd and 50th. I have went to Essa's and they are very good. Check out the spot next door, its called Liberty Cafe. Weirdest spot, it has Sandwhiches, Pizza, hot food, cold food, Salads and a Taco Bell in the back, but the prices are great ($5-$6 lunch specials) and the food is pretty good. Next time you are by Essas try the Liberty Joint, great for Breakfast too. Food is so expensive in midtown so its nice to have a place that is pretty cheap. Enjoy!

Go to Spark's on 46th, its right between 3rd and lex I believe. Awesome steak, It will be pricey, you will be pushing it at $50 a person, but definitely worth it!!!! Awesome decor, great service and the steaks are amazing. I've been to many in the city, probably a good 10 and that was my favorite thus far.

Your best bet from there is to walk down 8th Ave to 42nd St. (PA bus terminal) and catch the E train uptown. Get off at Lex and 53rd (4 stops) then transfer to the 4 Train and that goes right up to the stadium. Its a lot of stops but that is the best train to take to the Stadium. Its something like 12 stops. Good luck! Go Yanks!

Hey everyone, Just wanted to give you what I got: This is my second day trying. Started at about 120 yesterday and worked up to 140. Here is what I did today. Downtown/Financial - $140 - Nothing Downtown Midtown East Midtown South - $160 - Intercontinental Barclay I'm happy with it, great location. I do work in and live around the city so I priceline often on nights I want to crash in. Good deal though for a 4* in Midtown. The hotel doesn't have a pool or any awesome amenities but it is a nice place and you can take the train (4,5,6 line) at Lex and 51st (3 blocks up). Good luck!
