Rating & Location: 3.5* San Diego/Downtown/Harbor Island Won: Sheraton Suites Listed Amenities: dont recall the entire list BUT it's pretty easy b/c it said SUITES.... also had high-speed internet/pool/restaurants... Booked: 4/15 Stayed: 4/15 Had to stay extra night at last minute.... got this place for $65 bucks.... great deal... big suite room.... sunday night/hotel just finishing some updating.... North Side of Downtown... 3 blocks north of gaslamp.... i dont think there are many other suite hotels in downtown but don't quote me on that....

The Gaslamp is small area with only a few 4* hotels.... perfect setup for hotwire.... got the OMNI for $180... GREAT HOTEL ... great deal i think see as it listed for $272 on priceline & Expedia at the same time..... I think the Omni is a pretty solid bet for this description but as I said I dont think there is that much disparity b/w the Omni/Solomar/Hilton which are other 4*'s in the Gaslamp (w/pools) and within 2 blocks of each other....
