I tried, but it said that they do not have the records for the transaction anymore. I'm guessing this is so because it was so old. I know Orbitz keeps tracks of all your past trips and transactions. I think Priceline should too.

Sorry, I never followed up! I had to look through my old e-mail, and I have the following rejects from Priceline. For some reason, I don't have an e-mail saved for the actual offer, but I do have my credit card statement: Bid $50, $55, $60, $65, $67, $70, $73 --> All rejected Hilton San Diego Resort Check-In Date: Mon, Dec 11, 2006 Check-In Time: Can't Remember! Check-Out Date: Wed, Dec 13, 2006 Check-Out Time: Can't Remember! Final price for two nights, which includes all taxes, etc... (my credit card statement) was: $198.30. I did not order any extras, so this is just the final bill for lodging. For future postings, I'll be sure to keep the info and post back to this helpful forum.

Sorry, I never followed up, but there's not much to follow up, since I didn't end up going! But, I did call around to the various hotels and did some research. It seems that Catalina Island does not have much going on with websites, so you must book the traditional way by calling or going to individual hotel websites. Prices also didn't seem to be affected by the fires that were on the island at that time in July.

Hi, I'm seeking help. Hopefully I've posted to the correct place here. I'd like to stay at a Palm Springs, CA resort from 11/20-11/22 (two nights). Preferably, it would be as nice as possible 3* or 4*, up to $160 per night. I don't care too much which resort it is or where it is, just as long as it's nice. This is right before Thanksgiving. I'm checking out Thanksgiving day. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to find an economical hotel to stay at in late August 2007 (08/22-08/24) in Avalon, CA (Catalina Island). I hardly see any on Hotwire and there are none for Priceline. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

Hi, Any Suggestions? - I'm looking to do a 4* (or if need be 3*) hotel anywhere in San Diego, 12/11/06, 12/12/06. - I am somewhat flexible on the days (can shift one day forward or one day backward), but would ideally like 12/11 and 12/12 (two nights) - What's the best way to do this for the best price? My main concern is price. Priceline it the morning of 12/11? I'm already familiar with the adding more locations that don't have 4* as choices method of bidding. Should I wait up to the very last minute? Any thoughts? Thanks...
