  1. Started at $135 with $5 increments using the following strategy: choose Kaanapali resorts, then add Kahului for re-bid. Close the window, open again start with Kaanapali and Kihei, add Kahului for rebid. Was offered to raise the bid by $22 after intial $135 bid, declined and raised by $5. Eventually $150 was accepted by Sheraton. I'm not sure if I'm happy with it, it looks a lil dated to my taste :) . Was hoping for Hyatt, but oh well..
  2. $88 with tax. Started bidding at $65. got a counter offer from PRICELINE to increase it by $17 and declined it. Added USE and $70 was accepted.
  3. Needed a room on my way back to WY from San Francisco.. Got it for $50 from the first try. Probably could get it for less, but didn't want to risk it. Details below: Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $50.00 Subtotal: $50.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.69 Total Charges*: $63.69
  4. 50% off. code GREEN good through 03/17/07 Restaurant.com
  5. $25 for $5 apply coupon code SALE at checkout. (Exp 03/11/2006) Restaurant.com
  6. mmm it's really strange you can't find anything for this price. I got 3* Sheraton IAH on Dec 14th for 1 night for just $38. If bidding the same day is an option for you you'll get the best price. And it always worked out for me.
  7. kohalasunset! Thank you! I'd like to get a 4* hotel for this price, but I definitely wouldn't spend this much. After Honolulu we're planning to go to New York for New Year's, which is pricey. I tried to bid up to 72 today for 3* in Waikiki central and beach area. nothing again :)
  8. I'm sorry if this is a repeating topic. I was trying to bid for an entire period and went up to $75 for 4*and $45 for 3* in Waikiki beach, city central and Honolulu airport area. there are no 3* and 4* near the airport, so it wasn't risky. wasn't succesful though. I have a back up reservation in Aqua Aloha Surf for $99 per night, so bidding more than 70-80 for 3* doesn't make sense. I wonder if splitting bids for those dates will help? Or any other strategies? Thank you for your responses :)
  9. Great clean linens and bed. They didn't mention Priceline and gave us a room on the 10th floor. Try to get a galleria view, not a highway one. There is also a very good restaurant downstairs, we enjoyed their signature sirloin. I was bidding for galleria area.
  10. Thanks! No, the first one was $50. I didn't want to go over 68$. I started with $67 USW and Embarcadero, got rejected. Added San Francisco South and $1 :), got Hyatt Embarcadero for $68!! BTW I used Savingsbarn.com
  11. The dates are 12/15/06- 12/19/06!! Awesome!!! :)
