  1. Posted on the wrong forum earlier. I used the PRICELINE link from here. Trying to get Westin Bonaventure for ~$75 based on history here. Started with $72 Downtown rejected $74 +Santa Monica rejected $76 +Redondo rejected $78 +Culver city accepted at Westin LAX. Argghhh....very not happy.
  2. Amenities shows: Coffe Cup(Free Breakfast) and Laundry Definitely not a 2* hotel by any standard.
  3. Went to Hotwire for hotels in the Hotel Circle areas for 3/16 to 3/18. Shows up with 2 hotels, 3* for $119 and 2* for $71. Then I look up the Hotwire Hotel list here, and found no mention of Super8 or 2* hotel in San Diego Hotel Circle. I also then goes on to Travelocity, Expedia, regular Priceline too look up for 2* hotels in the same areas, no mention of Super8. Everything shows Super8 as 1*. I also look up the rating guide on Hotwire and 2* are la quinta, comfort inn, days inn, etc. And it shows Super8 as 1* for $75/night. So I am pissed here that they gave me a 1* hotel as 2* hotel with price difference of $4 only. This is not really saving, its better to buy it directly. :) Reza
  4. Date is 3/3 - 3/4, this weekend basically. Start bid with 3* in San Diego Coastal for $45, rejected add Del Mar for $50, rejected add North Coastal for $55, rejected add Mission Valley for $45, rejected drop down to 2.5* for $44, rejected. I thought this should have been accepted, looking at past experiences by searching here on betterbidding. add Downtown Harbor for $47, accepted at Holiday Inn Downtown Harbor. I guess that is the only hotel in this price range. I would assume many of the 2.5" in Hotel Circle would take my $44 bid. Anyway, I will see how good this hotel is. Thank you Better Bidding! If there is any improvement on how I should bid, please let me know. I was initially trying to get 3* in Coastal or 2* in North Coastal, but could not figure out how to bring it there bidding about $40 for 2*, should have just bid that area perhaps.
  5. Started bidding at $110 for 5* Las Vegas Strip. Counter offer came in at $133. Rebid free west of strip zones in at $120. Bid accepted at $120. So it might be between $110 and $120, which is fine by me. -reza-
