got a 2* from hotwire in Lexington KY for $42us. Was the Microtel Inn by Whyndam TOTAL DUMP. Breakfast was the same every day and was the absolute worst I even got Room was FILTHY, covered in dirt, not vacuumed, when they changed our room the just REVERSED the fitted sheet inside out. Room and all the hallways smelt like sour beer and smoke, although it was a non-smoking hotel. Beds were old and had sprung, but were wrapped in Bed Bug "Protect-A-Bed protectors (have the photos) I guess they MUST have had bed bugs at one point, and then seal the bed and box springs, and sprayed out the hotel. We use Bed Bug traps.. did not get any..but still we did not bring our suit case in the hotel it was that dirty, and we wanted to be sure we did not get any bug hitch hikers Fridge was old, dented in, and covered in black mold. Lots of broken items in the halls and room. Have lots of photos. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL.. go for a 3* just to be safe...

Tried for a 4* at $85. no luck They suggested bidding $95, and there would be a hotel available. I bid, lost the bid, and it gave me a check box saying accept $95.. you got a 4*. I opened up to a 3.5*, and selected Toronto downtown North, South, and Lakeshore. Bid $60 Got Downtown Delta Chelsea. Been there before.. it was nice. SMALL rooms, but nice enough for $60 downtown. I suspect that parking will cost $20-$30/night though. .. hey.. its downtown. Going price for this Canadian Thanksgiving day weekend.. was about $150+ online, and if you went to their website.

Tried for a 4 * at a price of 95.. no luck Realized they do not have any 3.5 * hotels.. so I opened up 3, 3.5, 4 * bids Tried $80 no luck Later bid $86us got it. Hotel was mapquested, and surely has no view from any room, as its next to the Imax (for those who know the area) Trip advisor reviews were all over the place. OH: Please note this is our Canadian Thanksgiving... so the rates are VERY HIGH if you book online or direct with the hotel.

Bid $45 for 4* for Airport East/Airport West.. no luck THen bid $45 for 4*/3.5* Airport East/Airport West/Mississauga no luck Then bid $46 for 4*/3.5*/3* .. Airport East/Airport West/Mississauga/Brampton ...upped it to $46... and I won Got the Holiday Inn Tornoto Airport East 600 Dixon Rd.

got the Crown Plaza Falls View for $53us from HOTWIRE. 3.5* all I remember is it had Casino, kids activities, pool, internet, business, restaurant...and.. umm.. nuts.. I forget. The big thing to look for was Casino, and kids activities Not bad.. it has direct connections to the Water park, original casino, Hard Rock (or some similar resturant) and that rip off place, Marvel comics (save your money..DONT do the golf or the SPiderman ride.. what a total ripoff)

Soon, all the hotels south of EC Row Expressway will be torn down.. to make way for the DRIC highway. The Best Western is already sold.. but still running out its days (dump anyway) ANd the comfort in (not bad) will be gone soon. This will leave the HOliday in on Huron Church, the Hampton in.. and Travel lodge. All nice for their star rating.

Priceline bid and won the 2.5* Hyatt Place Tampa AIrport hotel Breakfast included for $54/night 07/17/08 to 07/29/08 Nice place.. been there before

Just bid on the Tampa Fl Airport district, and got the Hyatt Place (nice) 2.5* for $55 Date was July 11-July 19th

We initially left Thursday night, stayed in Pittsburg airport area.,.. arrived in Philly July 1st 2005 , and departed Friday the 8th 2005. (step daughter had to work Saturday) So we were there for the LIve Aid concert, and the Elton John 4th of July concert . :)

hot wire does NOT list a pool for the 4* in Montreal.. it also has many reviews for this. This selection IS the Hyatt, and yes it DOES have a pool.. The one listing a pool, I believe is the Delta.. (?)

Yup.. hotwire currently DOES NOT list a pool. and IT DOES have one. My Brother got it for $87/night (was initially listed for $83, but rejected) He stayed Aug 3-4-5-6 2005. They loved the room, and the location. Having realtives in Montreal (all passed now) and going 10 times/yr to visit.. it was a very good deal.

My brother booked thru HotWire.. Paid initially $83 as per the quote, but it rejected. After a few refreshes, he paid $87, for a 4* and got the Hyatt downtown. He LOVED it, and was about a 5-10 min walk (perfect for them) to Old Montreal. Said it was a GREAT deal for Montreal.

for 7 days, over the 4th of July weekend, we were able to book a 3.5* (Sheriton Suites Airport) in Philly. VERY nice... although the pool was a bit small. About a 5-6 mile ride to down town... drive was NOT a big deal. Cost $86.00 us/night
