So BS... I could've got Vdara for $97 on HOTWIRE if I wanted. I bid from 70 all the way to 100 in 5 dollar increments and kept getting rejected. I put 103 and thought I was going to get Aria but got Vdara. I would've just paid the 116 for Aria on HOTWIRE.
I am looking at booking a Beverly Hills - West Hollywood hotel for 159.00 per night. Looking to book one night but I was stunned by how much the tax recovery charges & fees were. Tax should only be 14% but Hotwire is quoting 103.89 for a total of 262.89 for a 159.00 hotel room?! Is this right?
This is to make up a trip to NYC that got cancelled when Hurricane Irene happened. I had previously won Westin Time Square for 165... Started bidding at 115 and went up by intervals of 5... Was hoping to get Inter-Continental or Hilton... got Crown Plaza... I feel like I got ripped off
Started bid at like 150, got an offer to bid 188 one more time so I knew to bid under that threshold. Bid 160 and got rejected but then got accepted at 165.
ahh got it. I'm seeing Coney Island, Long Island City, Madison Square Garden - Convention Area, Queensborough Bridge, Upper East Side I got an offer by Priceline that said they would let me bid again if I bid 188. Does that mean anything?
I'm trying to get the Westin in Times Square for around 150-170 for 8/27-8/29 and I was wondering if this list is the most up to date as Westin is a 4* hotel. I noticed there is a 4* hotel called The Ravel in Long Island City so it kind of scared me to try rebidding. Brooklyn (highest 3.5) Chelsea (highest 3) Coney (highest 2) Long Island (highest 3) Madison (highest 3.5) Upper East (highest 3)
