Total with taxes and fees is $101 CAD. Booked using the HOTWIRE links on this site.
Note that the star rating was higher than it is listed on your Hotwire Hotel Listing (3.5 stars) so I expected Acclaim but I'm happy with this win.
Total $236.04 with all taxes and fees. Much better than the $483 CAD (approx $395 US) on the Delta site. Used the PRICELINE link from this site.
Best rate for this hotel on their website for the same nights was $199 + tax. Great deal! Used the PRICELINE links on this site.
Started trying for a 4 * but was unsuccessful up to $100. Decided to add 3.5*. Started at $80 and got a counteroffer of $96. I started over with a bid of $85 and won this property. I'm happy with the price as their rates on-line for the same date starts at $159 prepaid. Used links on this board to access Priceline.
I am also bidding for that timeframe in Montreal. It is the Just for Laughs Festival so that could be affecting availability. I have booked a back up, refundable hotel just to be safe but will continue bidding with a max of $125 for 3.5 or 4 *. Will post if I win.
Used the PRICELINE link on this site. Pre-purchase on hotel site is $84 so not the best deal we've ever gotten on priceline but still a savings so we're happy.
Started bidding for a 5* hotel in Old Madrid. Went up to $150 with no win so decided to add 5* Around La Castellana. Started at $100 and went up in small increments, adding free rebids. Won the Silken Puerto America for $112 which looks like a very interesting and quirky hotel (looking forward to it).
I'm not sure what area the hotel is officially in. I assumed Around La Castellana as East doesn't show any 5* hotels but when I search the hotel on Priceline's regular booking site, it lists it as a 5* in East Madrid. Regardless, we're happy with the win and ask that you update the Priceline hotel list as this one doesn't seem to be on it.
Used the PRICELINE link on this site.
Thanks again for a great site and useful resource.

Had expected the Holiday Inn Express Westport based on hotel list. Was suprised by this win but happy with the price and location.

Very happy with the price! It was $124 CAD/night. I wasn't able to replicate the price using USD on Hotwire so used an online conversion tool to determine that it is $94 USD. Of course I used the Hotwire link on this board.
