  1. Hello,

I am having difficulty ID'ing a hotel for 9/23 - 9/24 in the Rome Airport (FCO) - Ostia area.

Booking for 3 rooms (2 guest per room).  $84.00/night

It is the 4* with (1001 - 1500) Trip Advisor reviews, bed options are 2 single beds, 1 double bed, or 1 double and one twin.

Amenities Include:  Free Internet, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Children's activities.

Narrowing it down all the 4* options in that area would be great - except the Best Western.  Is there any way to determine if this is certainly NOT the Best Western?

    Thanks a lot! :)

    Mike

  2. Hi there,

I was just curious what trends you are seeing with the Express Deals and NYOP deals.  Are there still much better deals through NYOP or are they all w/in 5-10% of Express Deals?  It use to be they even had separate inventory, is that still true?  I recently NYOP for a room in Walla, Walla and it popped exactly 5% under the Express deals price.  Just wondered if you were still getting reports of great winning bids out there quite a bit lower than the express deals price...

    Thanks for everything as always.

  3. Hi there,

I am getting ready to book a trip from BOI to MEM August 7th - August 17th (two tickets).  I'm getting a Hotwire Hotfare $380.00 that is about 40/per ticket less. Than the cheapest retail fare. I'm pretty certain since there are only 0-1 stops that it will be the flight that leaves at 6:00pm and arrives at 12:30AM (next day),  I can't see any other schedule that gets in "next day".

Here is my question, I've never had success with NYOP on flights (especially this far out)  - but since Hotwire has a HOTFARE available, does that better my chance I could Name My Own Price on Priceline cheaper than the HOTFARE? If yes, where should I start bidding?

    Thanks

    Mike

  4. Great hotel win during Elvis Week! $45.00 + 5% SUMMER promo code. Rates are outrageous for even marginal hotels during this time period. Reviews are good for the La Quinta and free breakfast! Hotel was $95.00 on the retail site and $50.00 on Express Deals, so I saved a little. Used the betterbidding PRICELINE link to get it.

Any other Elvis Fans staying at the La Quinta during Elvis Week who reads this are welcome to message me so we can meet up for a drink. :)

  5. Used the Betterbidding link as always!!!

Also booked 2 rooms for just friday and saturday for $59.00 per night which further confirms my belief if you are booking more than 1-2 rooms there IS a premium you will pay per room if you are booking multiple rooms!

Super happy about the deal though because Hotwire was $69.00 Thurs-Sun and $86.00 per night Fri-Sun

Thanks for all the great advice on here!
