PS. We are trying to get as close to the above address as possible because my daughter is in an all day summer camp for the week.

This was for a hotel not to far from our house a USC game.  We decided not to get a hotel and cab instead.

I checked my emails and I ended up using SPG miles instead of Hotwire. They upgraded me to a suite.

I'm a long time member but a little rusty.  I'm trying to get a hotel as close to 300 W 43rd St (8th Ave & 43rd St) with 4* or more for as little as possible.  

It looks like I could get ROW NYC for $170 +$27 ($1589) through PRICELINE EXPRESS.  Is there a way to target this hotel(or something else) through bidding to get a lower price?

I love the proximity, but would like to try and shave some more off the price.

My bid for downtown Los Angels on 8/28/11 failed. I'll try again tomorrow and update the board.

Very disappointed. Paid $119 on Hotwire for a room in this area. Hotel's website is selling it for $124 (AAA). Reviews look absolutely horrible on the trip advisor. I was hoping to get a better room given the price was so much higher than the other bidders $80.

Room is for 1 night August 9th.

Just a quick FYI!!

The 4* on Coronado with Beach Access and Oceanfront is Loews Coronado Bay Resort.

I just reserved a room for Oct. 8th for $105.
