  1. update:

i got Omni for $123/night for my 5/28 stay. When I bidded for $100 and got rejected, i was told that i can win by adding $23. Since I will leave tomorrow morning and don't have time to try again, I raised my bid to $123. The price after tax and fees is $150 which is much higher than my budget. But with my $75 bid for 5/26 and 5/27, the average price after tax and fees is $112/night. Although I couldn't get Hyatt Regency for the 3rd day's stay, I am still quite happy with the result. :-)

  2. Hi, I wanted to bid a 4* hotel in SF for my upcoming 3 days stay. Yesterday I raised my bid from $75 to $88 and didn't get anything. I checked on Expedia.com and noticed that Friday rate is much higher than the other two days. So I decided to bid seperately.

Few mins ago, I successfully got Hyatt Regency for $75, 5/26-5/28. Now I am trying to get the same hotel with higher price for the Friday night stay. But here is my question: If i got the hotel, do I have to check out on Friday morning before 12:00 and check in on Friday afternoon after 3:00? If I had to do that, I probably would think about getting another hotel.

Thank you very much for your help!

  3. It seems pretty difficult to get a 4* hotel in Maui-Waiea area at below $200 during this period. I tried a few times, raising from $160 to $180 and got nothing. Then my husband bid at $187. The system reminded me to add $25 and did not allow me to place order at any price lower than $203, so I gave up and waited for three days. Just few minutes ago, I tried at $193 and suceeded at $197. :)

    Thanks! :)
