I searched for a 4-star hotel in the downtown area, got a hit for $77 per night, so I took it. It was the Wyndham Emerald Plaza Hotel. Very nice. It was just across the street from the trolley station that I rode to the border with Tijuana. It had a swimming pool, but, was closed during my visit for repairs. There was a nice lobby bar. I only used the restaurant for breakfast each day. I don't recall if there was internet access in the room; if there was, I didn't use it. Very good location downtown, near the marina where I found a great restaurant, Anthony's Fish Grotto. Link to comment
