susaninohio
Hi,I came up with this set of amenities for a stay April 30-May2 in the Magnificent Mile/Streeterville area:3.5 stars, suite, breakfast, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet; 95 percent satisfaction. So I'm assuming this is Embassy Suites Lakefront, which is perfect. (Price is $95 per night on Friday-Saturday; or $97 per night Thursday-Friday-Saturday -- I need to nail down my travel plans). My questions are these:1. Am I right that this this ES Lakefront?2. Is there any way to request a suite with two beds in the bedroom (rather than the other ES configuration: a king bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room)? Could do this through Hotwire or after I've booked, but don't know if I'd be likely to get what I want. Please advise. Thanks much! Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)This would likely be the ES Lakefront (and in general seems like an awfully good deal, as regular rates seem a little high on these dates.). You can request two beds, but the hotel could say no - there are less rooms w/2 beds at this property, and the 1 bed studios do have sofabeds, so that may "qualify" for bedding for 4 in terms of HOTWIRE. I would recommend calling the hotel and politely (as it may depend on who you talk to) asking if there is any way that they could block a room w/2 beds. They may say no, but it's worth trying. If you have any questions regarding Chicago, please feel free to ask. Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
susaninohio
Hi,Sorry for the delayed response. Ended up booking the Embassy Suites Lakefront (using betterbidding.com HOTWIRE link) for $97 a night -- a great rate at a nicely located hotel (still had to pay $42 a night for parking -- oh well). Thanks for your help. And, I requested a suite with two beds in the bedroom -- which I got. Happy with everything. Link to comment
