rayq
Got 3 rooms for 2 nights at Hyatt Regency Vancouver for $70 each per night :). We have 6 adults and 5 kids (3 families). Booked through PRICELINE link in your site. First time Priceline user. Thanks for the guidelines in your site!Call the hotel and got the confirmation but wouldn't guarantee type of room. We hope to have a 2 queen size bed room but seems that they only have either 2 double or 1 king size bed available. Link to comment
rayq
When you do the normal search (not Name Your Own Price Deal), Priceline will show you a list of hotels of the selected area. For example, in Vancouver Airport areafor 4*Fairmont Vancouver Airport 3.5*Marriott Vancouver Airport Hilton Vancouver Airport 3*Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport Four Points By Sheraton Hotel Vancouver Airport and so on... Can we expect those hotels if we starting bidding on the Priceline based on star rating we choose? Or will there be some unexpected surprise (good/bad) since there is difference between the above list and the Priceline Hotel List on this site? Thanks. Link to comment
tilepusher
The hotel that you get through Name Your Own Price may be different from those that appear in a search though Priceline's retail service; if you select the "Name Your Own Price" tab from the search results, Priceline will give you the same warning. The same search often produces different results on different days; hotels appear and disappear for no apparent reason. I find the BackUpBooking tool to be more useful for finding what hotels may be available through NYOP. Link to comment

rayq
Some people mentioned online that you would be given the "worst" room in that hotel when checking in if you booked your room through Priceline. How many people in here got that experience especially at Hyatt? Thanks. Link to comment
