Hotwire Hotel: 4* NYC - Broadway

I am trying to book a four night stay 7/15/09-7/19/09 in NYC theatre district for myself, husband and two teenagers. Today's rate is $183/nt for fitness club, restaurant, HSIA, and business center. What hotel do you think this could be and also should I chance waiting for the rate to go down?

I'm so sorry I meant to get back to this thread. My mother died shortly after I posted this question and my posting went completely out of my mind. In the end, we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square for $150/night. So sorry for not closing out the thread.

For the Hilton Garden Inn did you purchase that directly with the hotel, thru PRICELINE, HOTWIRE or some other source? Sorry to be unclear. I hadn't seen anything on HOTWIRE for the price I needed and we needed 2 beds so PRICELINE was not an option so I booked the Hilton Garden Inn directly through a special offered through Travelzoo.

I wasn't sure how this board worked. To be honest I thought you guys had not responded to my question at all. I had checked back for a few weeks and hadn't heard from you and then gave up on you. Now I see that you responded after 16 months. I guess I must have not posted correctly or something.

Anyway, thanks for your kind words regarding my mother. I'll get the hang of this eventually.
