Hotwire Hotel: 3* Lubbock La Quinta

I booked Friday and Saturday, March 13 and March 14, 2009 as above. I looked for some help identifying the hotel but didn't see anything, so I'm posting what hotel I received thru HOTWIRE.

Only two amenities showed, internet and pool (says may be seasonally open).

As this property offers breakfast to it's guests, I really expected to get the Radisson. I have to say I was feeling a bit dissapointed to get La Quinta, as I did not think the amenities matched La Quinta. Regular price for seniors at La Quinta is $49.50, so $39 plus what I believe might be higher taxes/fees wasn't much of a deal imo. Oh well. Had I known I was going to get La Quinta I probably would not have gone thru hotwire at all. I apologize for not following directions on obtaining the property, but I will next time if I use hotwire again. This was my first actual hotwire purchase and I have mixed feelings about amentities not matching the hotel I actually received, but it's ok.

These are the actual amenities of the La Quinta I got, and as you can see the La Quinta Civic Center Lubbock, TX has many things walking distance nearby and more than the two amenities listed. (i.e. amenities did not match what hotwire shows which is why I expected to get the Radisson).

The hotels have to have all the amenities shown... but don't have to show all the amenities that they have :)

In some situations, for example if a property is the only hotel in the area with Free Breakfast, they may not want to show that amenity so as to not "give it away", or they may 'hide' an amenity in order to make their hotel look the same as another in the area so that users can't "choose" that hotel if they really must have that specific property... other hotels, where they offer the same amenities as a nearby hotel, may in fact remove an amenity in order to differentiate itself from the other property, thinking that they have an advantage over the other hotel and would prefer to let users 'know' the difference.
