Hotwire Hotel: 3* (College Park-Beltsville) Holiday Inn Greenbelt

I'm not sure which forum this is most appropriate for-- I've been looking for a DC hotel for these dates for a few days and since most three- and four-stars are going at ridiculous rates during this week a little bit before the election, I looked into the Maryland suburbs.

I honestly thought from its listing on this site and the description given that this was the Sheraton Washington North. It had all the amenities listed for the Sheraton, plus a shuttle which the Sheraton does have, and it was the only 3-star listed for this area on this board (although under Washington DC hotels, nothing in this area came up for me when I would search for DC, so I searched for College Park, MD).

The price is good and the hotel seems fine, but I'm honestly disappointed with this one because I wanted the Sheraton due to its being so pet-friendly. While other Holiday Inns in the area allow pets, this one does not and that is a concern. At least the price is right :)

Therefore, this hotel probably needs to be added to both the Maryland and DC Hotwire hotel lists.

Now I see that as I look at your list, but at the time I had even counted icons and only the Shuttle one was different. Odd-- perhaps I got a different hotel when I logged back into Hotwire although I doubt that. It was probably my mistake, Occam's razor and all that.

Anyway, the important thing is it is not the only hotel in that area that Hotwire gives out, which is good for future users to know!
