kingstondave
I'm looking at staying in Kingston, Ontario June 3-5, or June 4-5. For June 4-5, I'm seeing a 3 star hotel for $129, and am hoping to get some help identifying it.Amenities are: - All rooms non-smoking- Fitness centre- Pool- Restaurant- Business Centre- Laundry- High speed internetWhat's throwing me off is the laundry facilities - I'm not aware of any 3 star hotels that are advertising laundry facilities. As far as I know, the only 3 star hotels in Kingston are: Holiday Inn, Radisson and Four Points Sheraton. Some sites also consider the Best Western Fireside, and Ambassador to be three stars.Any help is appreciated. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! The Holiday Inn has laundry facilities (and is a non-smoking hotel) so that would be our best guess. (NOTE: the Four Points may be non-smoking as well... not sure if they offer Laundry facilities or not, but their website is showing sold-out for your dates above so that reduces the chances of the above being the Four Points)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. kingstondave
Thanks - you're probably right that it was the Holiday Inn.. they do have coin laundry, but I couldn't see it on their website. Four Points is also smoke-free, but doesn't have laundry.I ended up booking through PRICELINE for June 3-5 and got the Holiday Inn for $120/night. It's far from the best hotel, but it's a good location. It has 197 rooms, and probably 190 have balconies and something resembling a view. Of course, I got a dim, main floor room without a balcony and a view of parked cars. Kingston's a tough place to stay because there are so few downtown hotels, that even the marginal hotels (like the Holiday Inn) can charge higher rates. Link to comment
