thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!please help me out on how to bid to get this hotel or a better oneYou can not bid on a specific hotel. If you are trying to target a specific property HOTWIRE may be a better option since it enables you to take an educated guess as to the property being offered based upon the star rating and amenities shown. If you search HOTWIRE, does anything show in the area(s) you're interested in which are within your budget? If you would like to proceed with priceline, what is your maximum bid (before taxes and fees), minimum star rating, and zone(s) which you're willing to accept? Hunnypot4pooh
I am cruising out of FLL also and am trying for a 4* in the "Fort Lauderdale - Beach Area" for the 25th of November. I started bidding at $60, and have been increasing it $2 per day.So far, no luck. Tomorrow I bid $64.After about $85, I will lower my price to $50 and start on the 3* hotels in that area.I will post my final results.Happy bidding! Link to comment

thereuare
If you've been bidding on this stay please follow-up your existing Priceline Ft Lauderdale thread with your progress.I have not yet bid, I will start today. That question was for Hunnypot4pooh.For your 2/1/08-2/2/08 stay i'm not sure if $85 will be enough for these two zones, but you can try as follows:At the 3* level you have two re-bid zones avaialble. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3* Downtown...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* Beach...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* Downtown and Beach...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85.Any questions feel free to ask.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
