jimf
Started bidding yesterday at $60, went through my options and had to wait til today to try again. Not a lot of zones to play with.Started today at 70, then 75, got the add $17 or whatever page, and got it at $78. I think the prices are going up proportionately in relation to how close you are to the prime fall color weekends. Just my guess.Savingsbarn, yep. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your win!I think the prices are going up proportionately in relation to how close you are to the prime fall color weekends. Just my guess.Makes complete sense, as you get more into 'prime' time, demand goes up, as do prices... always goes back to the basic laws of supply and demand. Thanks for sharing your win with the board and for staring your bids with the PRICELINE links at SavingsBarn.comHave a great stay. Big_Rog
Would you say that when the dead of winter hits say nov dec jan - the rates drop for dtn mtl hotels? Link to comment
thereuare
the rates drop for dtn mtl hotels?Generally that would be the case, but not necessarily true in all situations/cities (for instance, NYC gets cold in Nov/Dec and it is a very expenisve time of year). Are you asking about Downtown Montreal hotels? If so, this thread is regarding Quebec... if you need help with an upcoming stay please start a NEW TOPIC.
