Hello im going to NY for the first time, help

do you think is possible to find a hotel in manhattan or brooklyn ..for 130 maybe 150.

It's a trade-off... staying in the city is more convenient but also everything (food, drinks, bottled water, soda, candy, etc, etc) is more expensive. Staying outside of the city is less expensive, and you can eat early breakfast and late dinner in the 'suburb outside of the city' in or order to save some money, but by staying outside of the city you do lose much of the 'buzz factor' that makes the city so great.

However, i'll also add that once you start to get below 3* in NYC the quality can get iffy. You may find a diamond in the rough which meets your needs, but you could also land something which falls well short of your expectations.

I think your budget is going to be a bit tough regardless of which option you choose to purse, but let us know your thoughts on the above and we'll take it from there.

ive seen some 2 * in brooklyn around 100 - 150$.. in Expedia

My comment regarding difficulty was more so a 2*/3* within Manhattan.

If you're looking to include areas outside of the city, such as Brooklyn, what areas inside of the city are you willing to accept, as we can use them as 'pseudo' re-bid zones... zones which you don't expect to win, but which you're perfectly fine staying in should you happen, by some off-chane, be acceptable.
