The 3.5* Minneapolis West property is a match for the Marriott so that would be my best guess for this one.

The Eagan property is a match for the Springhill Suites so that would be my best guess for this one.

Went through PRICELINE link instead and received Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place.

Initially requested Eagan area only at 3 1/2*. Started bidding with $45 which was not accepted. Then asked to add to or change request. So added West Minneapolis area and bid $55. This was accepted. Thank you for your assistance!

Note that if your first choice was Eagan, you did have re-bid zones available (see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained) which would have enabled you to bid higher for just that zone. By adding a 'live' zone (one which has the star level you're bidding) and raising your bid at the same time, you leave the door open for a potential overbid. Feel free to ask for help and/or a bidding strategy before bidding for your next hotel stay.
